Musselman High School
Musselman High School is a class AAA high school in Inwood, West Virginia, United States. Inwood is in Berkeley County and just outside the city of Martinsburg, the largest city in the Eastern Panhandle. Musselman High School was established in 1949. Musselman High School was named for the C.H. Musselman Company, an apple processing plant and maker of Musselman's Applesauce. The mascot is the Applemen, a Red Delicious apple with large, muscular arms and legs and an aggressive facial expression. A new school building was built for the Musselman community in 1998 to replace the aging original structure and to better serve a rapidly increasing population. Trevon Wesco (born September 12, 1995) is an American football tight end for the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Lackawanna College and West Virginia, and was drafted by the Jets in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Gerrardstown, West Virginia
Gerrardstown is an unincorporated community village located along W.Va. Route 51 in Berkeley County in West Virginia's Eastern Panhandle region in the lower Shenandoah Valley. History Originally established as Middletown on November 22, 1787, by an act of the Virginia General Assembly, Gerrardstown was laid off by David Gerrard on Mill Creek, a tributary of Opequon Creek. Gerrard was the son of Baptist minister John Gerrard (for whom the town was named in 1787, the year of his death). It served as the site of Mill Creek Baptist Church, the first Baptist church west of the Blue Ridge Mountains and member of the Ketocton Association. The Cadets Drum And Bugle Corps
The Cadets Drum Corps (formerly the Holy Name Cadets, Cadets of Garfield, Garfield Cadets, and Cadets of Bergen County) is a World Class competitive junior drum and bugle corps. Based in Allentown, Pennsylvania, The Cadets was one of the thirteen founding corps of Drum Corps International (DCI), is a ten-time DCI World Champion, and is the oldest continuously active junior drum and bugle corps in North America. The West Virginia Secondary School Activities Commission (WVSSAC, but colloquially referred to as SSAC) is the main governing body of high school sports, cheerleading, and marching bands in West Virginia, United States. For sports other than basketball schools are divided into three classes by total enrollment in grades 9-12: A (less than 450 students), AA (451-800 students), and AAA (more than 800 students), with schools re-classed every four years. Football, baseball, cheerleading, golf, softball, track, and volleyball are broken into these three classes. Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. It has been a part of the official program of the Summer Olympic Games since Tokyo 1964. Beach volleyball was introduced to the programme at the Atlanta 1996.
