Music of Utah has long been influenced culturally by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). The local music scene thrives. The musical history of Utah, and much of its current distinctiveness, is owed to artists from a variety of beliefs. Contemporary Utah music scene Utah has produced some popular recording artists since 2000.
