''Dance Dance Revolution'', released in Europe as ''Dance Dance Revolution Hottest Party 4'' for the Wii version and ''Dance Dance Revolution New Moves'' for other versions, is a music video game in the ''Dance Dance Revolution'' series, with this entry developed by Konami's American division. Unveiled at E3 2010, it was released for the Wii and PlayStation 3 in North America on November 16, 2010. A port of this version for the Xbox 360 was also released on April 12, 2011. It is also the only game in the series to be released for the PlayStation 3, as well as the final game in the series to be released for the Xbox 360. Eddie Kay
Edward J. Kay (November 27, 1898 – December 22, 1973) was an American film composer and musical director, who worked on over 340 films from the 1930s into the 1960s, and was nominated on multiple occasions for an Academy Award for Best Original Score, although he never won. On his last film, 1962's ''The Creation of the Humanoids'', he was also a producer. In 1941, Kay was nominated for ''King of the Zombies'', but lost to Bernard Herrmann for ''All That Money Can Buy''. The following year, Kay was nominated for ''Klondike Fury'', losing to Max Steiner, for ''Now, Voyager''. "Closer" is a song by American recording artist Ne-Yo. The song was produced by Stargate. It was released as the lead single from Ne-Yo's third studio album, '' Year of the Gentleman'' (2008). "Closer" peaked at number seven on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100. Outside of the United States, "Closer" topped the charts in the United Kingdom and peaked within the top 10 of the charts in several other countries, including Australia, Austria, Germany, Finland, Ireland and New Zealand. Background "Closer" marked a musical departure for Ne-Yo, taking on a dance-pop style over the more rhythmic and urban sound his songs usually possess. ''Dance Dance Revolution Hottest Party 2'', later released as in Japan, was announced by Konami on May 15, 2008 as part of the 10th anniversary of ''Dance Dance Revolution'' celebration. ''Hottest Party 2'' features the same gameplay as the first Hottest Party and introduces new gameplay modes, gimmicks, characters and graphical enhancements.
