Mushtaq Ahmed Gurmani
Nawab Mian Mushtaq Ahmed Gurmani ( ur, ; (1905 – 1981) was a Pakistani politician who served as the Diwan of the Bahawalpur State. He was from Sinanwan. After the partition of India and the accession of Bahawalpur, he served as a 'Minister without Portfolio' in the central Government of Pakistan in charge of the Ministry of Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan, Ministry of Kashmir Affairs, and served as prime minister in the princely state of Bahawalpur before partition. He left for the eternal abode in 1981. Early life Mian Mushtaq Ahmad Gurmani was born in a Gurmani family of village Thatha Gurmani, Tehsil Kot Addu, District Muzaffargarh, in the Punjab Province of Pakistan. West Pakistan ( ur, , translit=Mag̱ẖribī Pākistān, ; bn, পশ্চিম পাকিস্তান, translit=Pôścim Pakistan) was one of the two Provincial exclaves created during the One Unit Scheme in 1955 in Pakistan. It was dissolved to form 4 provinces in 1970 before 1970 General Elections under the 1970 Legal Framework Order. Habib Ibrahim Rehmatullah
Habib Ibrahim Rahimtoola (12 March 1912 – 2 January 1991) was a Pakistani politician, diplomat and industrialist. He served as High Commissioner to the United Kingdom between (1947–52). Rahimtoola also served as Governor of Sindh (1953–54) and later as the Governor of Punjab (1954). He is considered one of the founders of Pakistan for his involvement as a leader of the Pakistan Movement. Early life and political career Rahimtoola was initially educated at St. Xavier's School, Calcutta, where he also received his Bachelor of Arts at the affiliated St. Xavier's College, Kolkata, both being in the top tier of educational institutions in Calcutta. He then received an LL.B 1935. He entered politics at an early age and became Secretary General of the Muslim Students Union at his college between 1927 and 1931. Governor Of Punjab (Pakistan)
The Governor of Punjab is the appointed head of state of the provincial government in Punjab, Pakistan. Although the Governor is the head of the province on paper, it is largely a ceremonial position; and the main powers lie with the Chief Minister Punjab and Chief Secretary Punjab. However, throughout the history of Pakistan, the powers of the provincial governors were vastly increased, when the provincial assemblies were dissolved and the administrative role came under direct control of the governors, as in the cases of martial laws of 1958–1972 and 1977–1985, and governor rules of 1999–2002.
