Musa Ahmed
Musa Nadeem Ahmed (born 10 December 1997) is a Dutch cricketer. In October 2020, he was part of the Dutch Academy squad. In May 2021, he was named in the Netherlands A team for their tour of Ireland to play the Ireland Wolves. He made his List A debut on 10 May 2021, for the Netherlands A cricket team against the Ireland Wolves. Later the same month, he was named in the Netherlands' One Day International (ODI) squad for their three-match against Ireland. On his selection for the ODI series, the Dutch team coach Ryan Campbell praised Ahmed's performance in the Topklasse competition and his hard work during the enforced international break due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Irish Cricket Team In The Netherlands In 2021
The Ireland cricket team toured the Netherlands in June 2021 to play three One Day International (ODI). The ODI matches formed part of the inaugural 2020–2023 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League. The teams last played an ODI against each other in July 2013, during the 2011–2013 ICC World Cricket League Championship, with the match ending in a tie. Cricket Ireland confirmed the fixtures in February 2021, and the matches were played at the Sportpark Maarschalkerweerd in Utrecht. The matches were shown on Ziggo in the Netherlands, the first time a Dutch international cricket series was broadcast live in the country. The Ireland cricket team represents all of Ireland in international cricket. The Irish Cricket Union, operating under the brand Cricket Ireland is the sport's governing body in Ireland, and organises the international team. The Topklasse (known until 2010 as the Hoofdklasse) is the highest domestic 50-over cricket competition in the Netherlands. Until 2016 the league featured 8 teams playing in a double round-robin format, followed by relegation and championship play-offs. From 2017 the league reverted to a simple ten-team double round-robin format. The dominant club in terms of league titles has been HCC (Hague Cricket Club). Ryan Campbell
Ryan John Campbell (born 7 February 1972) is an Australian former cricketer who represented both Australia and Hong Kong internationally. He is the current head coach of the Dutch national team, having taken on the role in April 2017. Campbell was born in Perth. He made his debut for Western Australia during the 1995–96 season, and initially played as a specialist batsman, with Adam Gilchrist keeping wicket. He later replaced Gilchrist as wicket-keeper following his elevation to the national team in the late 1990s. Having first played for Australia A during the 1997–98 season, Campbell made his ODI debut in January 2002, against New Zealand. The Ireland Wolves (formally Ireland A) is a national cricket team representing Ireland. It is the second tier of international Irish cricket, below the full Ireland national cricket team. Matches played by Ireland Wolves are not considered to be One-Day Internationals, instead receiving first-class and List A classification.
