''Murray's Revenge'' is the second collaboration album from California rapper Murs (of Living Legends) and North Carolina producer 9th Wonder (formerly of Little Brother (band), Little Brother). Like their first collaboration '' Murs 3:16: The 9th Edition'', the album features ten songs, all produced by 9th Wonder, and is less than 40 minutes long. This effort was Murs' most commercially successful release, being his first to break into the ''Billboard'' 200 album chart. It debuted at No. 166 on the ''Billboard'' 200 and No. 70 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. It has sold 46,000 copies in the US as July 2008. Nicholas Neil Carter (born March 16, 1978), better known by his stage name Murs, is an American rapping, rapper. His name is an acronym (or backronym) for which he himself has created multiple meanings, such as "Making the Universe Recognize and Submit" or "Making Underground Raw Shit." Living Legends is an American hip hop supergroup consisting of indie hip hop artists from California. Beginning in the mid 1990s, the crew garnered a following by recording, promoting and performing their music independently through Legendary Music. The crew is considered by ''LA Weekly'' to be "one of the biggest success stories of the indie-rap movement, having sold close to 300,000 units of their various solo and group efforts — all by them-damn-selves." William McKinley Hutchison (December 6, 1944 – September 19, 2005), better known as Willie Hutch, was an American singer, songwriter as well as a record producer and recording artist for the Motown record label during the 1970s and 1980s. "Around the Way Girl" is the third single by LL Cool J from his 1990 album ''Mama Said Knock You Out''. The song later appeared on LL Cool J's 1996 greatest hits album, '' All World: Greatest Hits''. "Around the Way Girl" peaked at #9 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100, becoming LL Cool J's first top 10 single. Ashford & Simpson were an American husband-and-wife songwriting-production team and recording duo of Nickolas Ashford (May 4, 1941 – August 22, 2011) and Valerie Simpson (born August 26, 1946).
