''Murder 4 Hire'' is the fourth studio album by American heavy metal band Body Count. Released on August 1, 2006, this was the first album from Body Count in nine years. It is the band's first album following the deaths of drummer Beatmaster V and rhythm guitarist D-Roc the Executioner in 1996 and 2004, respectively. Although, D-Roc did contribute to the album before he died, and work on the album had come to a pause as a result of D-Roc's death. The rest of the rhythm guitar tracks were handled by Bendrix. It is the only album to feature O.T. on drums and the only one recorded without sampler and backing vocalist Sean E Sean. It is also their first album recorded without hype man Sean E. Mac. Frontman Ice-T later told Esquire Magazine he was not satisfied with the way the album came out because he was not as involved in the project as he usually tries to be. Body Count (band)
Body Count is an American Heavy metal music, heavy metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1990. The group is fronted by Ice-T, who first established himself as a rap music, rapper but co-founded the group with lead guitarist Ernie C out of their interest in heavy metal music. Ice-T took on the role of vocalist and writing the lyrics for most of Body Count's songs, while Ernie C has been responsible for writing the group's music. Body Count's Body Count (album), self-titled debut album was released on Sire Records in 1992, and garnered much attention due to a controversy around the song "Cop Killer (song), Cop Killer". Their label, Sire Records, and their parent company, Warner Bros. Records, defended the song; however Ice-T chose to remove it from the album because he felt that the controversy had eclipsed the music itself. Rap metal is a subgenre of rap rock and alternative metal music which combines hip hop with heavy metal. It usually consists of heavy metal guitar riffs, funk metal elements, rapped vocals and sometimes turntables. Thrash Metal

Groove Metal
Groove metal is a subgenre of heavy metal music that began in the early 1990s. The genre achieved success in the 1990s and continued having success in the 2000s. Inspired by thrash metal and traditional heavy metal, groove metal features raspy singing and screaming, down-tuned guitars, heavy guitar riffs, and syncopated rhythms. Unlike thrash metal, groove metal is usually slower and also uses elements of traditional heavy metal. Pantera are often considered the pioneers of groove metal, and groove metal expanded in the 1990s with bands like White Zombie, Machine Head, and Sepultura. Ernie Cunnigan (born June 10, 1959), better known by his stage name Ernie C, is an American musician best known as the guitarist of rap metal band Body Count. Early life Cunnigan grew up in Compton, California and attended Crenshaw High School with Ice-T. Cunnigan was one of the few students attending the school who was interested in rock music. His uncle was an important influence. He introduced Cunnigan to different groups and a diverse number of styles in the genre. Cunnigan became an enthusiastic fan, eventually buying a guitar from his local music store. He dedicated himself to learning, starting at 12. He was entirely self-taught. Cunnigan's guitar playing and showmanship earned him respect among his fellow students, including members of the Crips gang. ''The Last Days'' is a 1998 documentary film directed by James Moll and produced by June Beallor and Kenneth Lipper; Steven Spielberg, in his role as founder of the Shoah Foundation, was one of the film's executive producers.
