Munkegata Terminal
Munkegata Terminal was the main bus station in Trondheim, Norway until August 2019. The main bus terminal is now located in Prinsenkrysset. All buses to and from Trondheim, with the sole exception of the Airport Express Bus and TrønderBilene stopped at the terminal, that is located on the streets of Munkegata and Dronningens gate on Trondheim Torg in Midtbyen. The terminal also housed the corporate offices of Team Trafikk, the city bus company in Trondheim until June 2018. The terminal was divided into four sections each direction on Munkegata and two sections each direction on Dronningens gate. Each bus route stopped at a consequent stop in each direction, making it possible to manage a terminal that is two blocks long. One of the stops served regional buses from Gauldal Billag, Klæburuten, Nettbuss and NOR-WAY Bussekspress. Vy Buss, formerly branded as Nettbuss, is the largest bus company in Norway, owned by Vy. It was established on 10 February 2000 as the continuation of the bus operations from former NSB Biltrafikk. In addition to bus services in major parts of Norway, it also operates buses in Sweden through subsidiaries. Nils Carl Aspenberg (born 26 August 1958) is a Norwegian journalist, historian, author and businessperson. He has written numerous books on rail transport, and is chief executive officer of Baneforlaget. Aspenberg has a '' siviløkonom'' degree from BI Norwegian Business School. He worked as a conductor for Oslo Sporveier since 1980, and from 1981 tram and 1983-2003 subway engineer, as well as a bus driver since 1994. Trondheim Tramway
The Trondheim Tramway in Trondheim, Norway, is the world's most northerly tramway system, following the closure and dismantling of the Arkhangelsk tramways in Russia. It consists of one 8.8-km-long line, the Gråkallen Line, running from St. Olav's Gate in the city centre through Byåsen to Lian Station in Bymarka. Background Numbered Line 1, it is operated by Boreal Bane, a subsidiary of Boreal Norge and is often simply called the Gråkallen Line (Gråkallbanen). Gråkallbanen operates five tram cars, out of a total rolling stock of nine articulated tram cars built by Linke-Hofmann-Busch in 1984. Trondheim Central Station
Trondheim Central Station ( no, Trondheim sentralstasjon) or Trondheim S is the main railway station serving the city of Trondheim, Norway. Located at Brattøra in the north part of the city centre, it is the terminus of the Dovre Line, running southwards, and the Nordland Line, which runs north. The railway is electrified south of the station but not north of it, so through trains must change locomotives at the station. Team Trafikk
Team Trafikk AS was the bus company in Trondheim, Norway, since 2002 owned by Nettbuss. The company had 225 buses, 600 employees, a revenue of NOK 270 million and a daily ridership of ca 70,000 passengers in 2005. The company received subsidies from the City of Trondheim for their operations. History Team Trafikk was created in 2001 when the municipally owned Trondheim Trafikkselskap and the Kyrksæterøra-based and Orkla-owned Hemne Orkladal Billag (HOB) were merged. Both the previous owners later sold their shares to the Norwegian State Railway subsidiary Nettbuss. After the take-over Nettbuss transferred the non-Trondheim operations to ''Nettbuss Trøndelag AS'' and kept the Trondheim operations in Team Trafikk.
