Mumbai–Hyderabad High-speed Rail Corridor
The Mumbai–Hyderabad High Speed Rail Corridor is a planned high-speed rail line connecting India's economic hub Mumbai with the city of Hyderabad. When completed, it will be one of key links in India's high-speed rail line network along with Mumbai-Ahmedabad line. Set to be the third high-speed rail line project of India involving Mumbai, this project will cut short the travel time between the two cities from existing 15-hour-journey to a mere 3 and a half hour journey. The terminal for this corridor may be built in Navi Mumbai, which is planned to be integrated with the currently under-construction international airport. Besides the airport, it will be linked with Navi Mumbai's metro and the connectivity is further set to expand with a connection to the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link, work on which is underway. The Mumbai Trans Harbour Link, also known as the Sewri–Nhava Sheva Trans Harbour Link, is an under-construction 21.8 km (13.5 mi) 6-lane expressway grade road bridge, which will connect Mumbai with Navi Mumbai, its satellite city. When completed, it would be the longest sea bridge in India. The bridge will begin in Sewri, South Mumbai, will cross Thane Creek north of Elephanta Island, and will terminate at Chirle near Nhava Sheva. The road will be linked to the Mumbai–Pune Expressway in the east and to the under-construction Coastal Road in the west. Mumbai–Nagpur High-speed Rail Corridor
The Mumbai–Nagpur High Speed Rail Corridor is a planned high-speed rail line connecting Maharashtra's two major cities, Mumbai and Nagpur. It will be the second line which links Mumbai. Hyderabad–Bengaluru High-speed Rail Corridor
The Hyderabad–Bangalore High Speed Rail Corridor is a proposed high-speed rail line connecting India's two southern metros, Hyderabad and Bangalore. When completed, it will be Southern India's second high-speed rail line along with Chennai–Mysuru high-speed rail corridor. It is also said to be an extension of Mumbai-Hyderabad line. The National Rail Plan (NRP) stated that several major cities of India would connected via high-speed rail by 2051. Akluj is a town on the banks of Nira in Solapur district, Maharashtra, India. Akluj was earlier known for its large trade in cotton, which has almost disappeared at present.
