Mumbai Matinee
Mumbai Matinee is a 2003 Indian romantic comedy film directed and written by Anant Balani and starring Rahul Bose as a 32-year-old virgin. The film premiered on 26 September 2003 and was also released in the UK. Director Anant Balani died before the film was released on 29 August 2003. Plot Debu (Rahul Bose) is a 32-year-old advertising agent, but has a serious problem in that he is still a virgin. He meets Baba Hindustani (Vijay Raaz) in a hotel who promises to cure him of the teasing he gets from being a virgin. He later meets Nitin Kapoor, a film-maker (Saurabh Shukla) who later films him as he works out in the gym and other physical activities. Unaware of what is happening, Kapoor edits the film in such a way to give the impression of Debu as having sex. The film is released and becomes a box office hit and Debu quickly becomes a sex symbol. Anant Balani
Anant Balani (1962 – 29 August 2003) was a Bollywood film director and screenwriter. He directed films such as ''Patthar Ke Phool'' in 1991 which starred Salman Khan and Raveena Tandon in lead roles. He also wrote the script for ''Insaaf: The Justice'', released in 2004. He died of a heart attack on 29 August 2003 in Mumbai. 2003 had been a strenuous year for him and he had finished three films and was working on a fourth at his time of death. Three of the films that he had directed, namely, ''Joggers' Park'', ''Mumbai Matinee'' and ''Ek Din 24 Ghante'' were released after his death. Shaktimaan is an Indian Hindi-language superhero television show, created by Mukesh Khanna that aired on DD National from 13 September 1997 to 27 March 2005. Producer Mukesh Khanna played the role of Shaktimaan and his alter ego "Pandit Gangadhar Vidhyadhar Mayadhar Omkarnath Shastri", a photographer for the newspaper Aaj Ki Aawaz. Shaktimaan was depicted as a human who has attained superhuman powers through meditation and five elements of nature: Space, Earth, Air, Fire, Water. Kunal Ganjawala (born 14 April 1972) is an Indian playback singer whose songs are mostly featured in Hindi and Kannada films.
