Mullina Gulabi
''Mullina Gulabi'' () is a 1982 Kannada-language film directed and produced by Vijay. The story was written by M. D. Sundar. The film stars Ananth Nag and Aarathi. The film has musical score by Satyam, whilst the lyrics and dialogues were written by Chi. Udaya Shankar. Plot Aarathi arrives at the estate owned by two brothers played by Anant Nag and Jai Jagadish and becomes a daily-wage labourer. When younger brother Jai Jagadish falls for her and wants to marry her all hell breaks loose. It is revealed that Aarathi and Anant Nag were lovers in their college days and believing she was jilted by him, she is here to seek revenge. The song "Ee Gulabiyu Ninagagi" is very popular. Vijay (director)
B. Vijaya Reddy (15 July 1936 – 9 October 2020), better known as Vijay Reddy or Vijay, was an Indian film director who worked primarily in Kannada cinema with over 50 movies to his credit. His debut directorial venture was ''Rangamahal Rahasya'' (1970). He was known for his collaborations with leading Kannada actor Rajkumar for movies like ''Gandhada Gudi'' (1973), '' ''Mayura'' '' (1975), ''Naa Ninna Mareyalare'' (1976) and ''Sanaadi Appanna'' (1977) which are considered among the classic movies of Kannada cinema. Musuri Krishnamurthy
Musuri Krishnamurthy (10 March 1930 – 16 March 1985) was an Indian actor, film director, producer, working in Kannada cinema. He was known mostly for his roles as a comedian. Early life Krishnamurthy was born on 10 March 1930 to B. S. Vishweshwaraiah and Subbamma. His father, Vishweshwaraiah was a zamindar in Bettadapura, Mysore. As a young boy, Krishnamurthy was drawn towards singing and acting. He exhibited his singing talent during a Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations in front of carnatic vocalist Musiri Subramania Iyer and the then Maharaja of Mysore, Krishna Raja Wadiyar IV. Having been impressed by his performance, the Maharaja compared him to Musiri Subramania Iyer, after which Krishnamurthy was known as Musuri Krishnamurthy to all. Rajanand
Venkataraju known by his professional name Rajanand (1927-2004), was an Indian actor in the Kannada film industry. Tirumakudalu Narasipura Balakrishna (2 November 1911 – 18 July 1995), commonly known an T. N. Balakrishna or Balanna, was an Indian actor in the Kannada film industry. Roopa, known as Roopa Devi is an Indian actress who has acted in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films. She is the daughter of Kalyanam Raghuramaiah and veteran actress Advani Lakshmi Devi.
