Mulea Campaign
MULEA (Magadh University Late Exam Aandolan) is a social media campaign primarily on YouTube and Twitter. It was started as the Students were fed up from the Magadh University, Government of Bihar's lethargy and Central Government's non intervention in the critical matter of youth. Prior to starting the campaign the Students visited every high offices of the state ranging from Governor, Chief Minister, Bihar State Human Rights Commission. They were also denied to hold peaceful protest by the administration citing the Model Code of Conduct in place for Lok Sabha Election, 2019. Relevance of the Campaign Due to the pressure of the campaign the university started taking exams in the month of may when the Model Code of Conduct was in place due to Lok Sabha election citing which the university had postponed the already delayed exams. Government Of Bihar
The Government of Bihar, known locally as the State Government, is the supreme governing authority of the Indian state of Bihar and its 9 divisions which consist of 38 districts . It consists of an executive, led by the Governor of Bihar, a judiciary and legislative branches. Lalji Tandon
Lalji Tandon (12 April 193521 July 2020) was an Indian politician who served as the 18th Governor of Madhya Pradesh and 28th Governor of Bihar. He had also served as a member of parliament from 1996 until 2014 and as the Leader of the Opposition of the Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh from 2003 until 2007. He was a member of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and a protégé of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Early life Tandon was born in Chowk village in Lucknow, United Provinces, British India to Shivnarayan Tandon and Annpurna Devi. He graduated from Kalicharan Degree College. Tandon married Krishna Tandon on 26 February 1958, with whom he had three sons. Magadh University
Magadh University is a public state university and institution of higher education in Bodh Gaya, Bodhgaya, Bihar, India. It is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The university is governed by the Bihar State University Act 1976. It provides facilities for higher learning and research in the faculties of science, social sciences, humanities and commerce. With 19 constituent colleges, 22 PG departments and 39 affiliated colleges, Magadh University is the largest university in Bihar. After years of discussion and thought, Magadh University was finally split in 2018 and another university i.e. Pataliputra University came into being which covered under its jurisdiction all colleges located within the geographic area of Patna and Nalanda district that were earlier under Magadh University.
