Aly Muldowney
Alastair William "Aly" Muldowney (born 3 August 1983) is an English-born professional rugby union player. He is a versatile forward, being able to play in both the Second row (rugby union), second row and as a Flanker (rugby union), flanker. Muldowney currently plays for Gallagher Premiership club Bristol Bears. Club career Early career Muldowney was a late starter in rugby, opting to play basketball and Soccer, football at a young age instead. His first rugby club was Stafford RFC and his second club was Stourbridge RFC, Stourbridge, playing in the National League 1. From there Muldowney was signed by RFU Championship side Moseley rugby, Moseley. Following his spell at Moseley he was scouted by Scottish club Glasgow Warriors. Shirley Muldowney
Shirley Muldowney (born June 19, 1940), also known professionally as "Cha Cha" and the "First Lady of Drag Racing", is an American auto racer. She was the first woman to receive a license from the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) to drive a Top Fuel dragster. She won the NHRA Top Fuel championship in 1977, 1980, and 1982, becoming the first person to win two and three Top Fuel titles. She won a total of 18 NHRA national events. Luke Muldowney
Luke John Muldowney (born 31 July 1986) is an English semi-professional footballer who is first team coach at Potters Bar Town. A midfielder, Muldowney began his career at Brentford, for whom he made one professional appearance before dropping into non-League football upon his release in 2005. He spent six years as a player, captain and latterly manager at non-League club Egham Town. Playing career Brentford Palmer began his career as a youth at Brentford and embarked on a scholarship at the beginning of the 2002–03 season. Sylvester Muldowney
Sylvester James "Vesty" Muldowney, KC*SG, (14 January 1908 – 6 April 1995) was an Irish hurler who played as a left wing-forward for the Dublin senior team. Born in Rialto, Dublin, Muldowney first played competitive hurling during his schooling at Synge Street CBS. He arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of twenty-four when he first linked up with the Dublin senior team. He made his debut during the 1932 championship. Muldowney immediately became a regular member of the starting fifteen and won one Leinster medal. He was an All-Ireland runner-up on one occasion. Suzanne Muldowney (born August 13, 1952), nicknamed Underdog Lady, is a performance artist known for her appearances in parades in various cities throughout the year in her elaborate homemade costumes. She often dresses as the cartoon character Underdog. She came to national attention through her appearances on and calls to ''The Howard Stern Show'' to discuss and perform her dance interpretation of Underdog. There she was given the nickname "Underdog Lady", though she personally rejects this name and prefers to be referred to as simply "Underdog" when wearing the costume. Dominic Muldowney
Dominic Muldowney (born 19 July 1952 in Southampton) is a British composer. Biography Dominic Muldowney studied at the University of Southampton with Jonathan Harvey, at the University of York (with Bernard Rands and David Blake), and privately with Harrison Birtwistle. From 1974 to 1976 he was composer-in-residence to the Southern Arts Association. In 1976 he was invited by Birtwistle to become Assistant Music Director of the Royal National Theatre in London. He succeeded Birtwistle as Music Director in 1981, remaining in that post until 1997. Muldowney's orchestral music includes a number of concerti (for piano, saxophone, oboe, violin, percussion, trumpet and trombone), many of which explore his fascination with polyrhythms. Michael Joseph Muldowney
Michael Joseph Muldowney (August 10, 1889 – March 30, 1947) was a Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Pennsylvania. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 1894, he moved with his parents to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was graduated from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh in 1908. He was a member of the Pennsylvania State House of Representatives from 1925 to 1929. He served in the city council of Pittsburgh from 1930 to 1933. Muldowney was elected as a Republican to the Seventy-third Congress, but was an unsuccessful candidate for reelection in 1934. He was a member of the State board of mercantile appraisers from 1935 to 1937. He was appointed as the State Unemployment Compensation Referee in 1940 and served in that capacity until his death in Pittsburgh.
