Mujono
Mujono (1927–1984) was the sixth Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Indonesia as well as the 16th Minister of Law and Human Rights. His appointment to both posts began a line of former military officials predominating in Indonesia's legal system.Daniel S. Ali Said (Indonesia)
Ali Said (1927-1996) was an Indonesian judge, military officer and politician. Like his predecessor Mujono, he was one of a string of former military officials to be appointed to the judiciary of Indonesia. Said often worked closely with Ismail Saleh and Mujono. Said replaced Mujono as Minister of Law and then as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Indonesia; Saleh replaced Said as Attorney General and then Minister of Law. Together, the three were known as the "Three Punokawan In Javanese '' wayang'' (shadow puppets), the ''panakawan'' or ''panakavan'' (''phanakavhan'') are the clown servants of the hero. Umar Seno Aji
Umar Seno Aji (5 December 1915 – 9 November 1984) was the fifth Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Indonesia as well as the fourteenth Indonesian Minister of Law and Human Rights. Aji's appointment as minister of law in 1966 was initially viewed as a victory by supporters of the rule of law; this later led to disappointment when, after his appointment, he became an opponent of judicial review. While his predecessor as chief justice Subekti had been a champion of judicial independence, Aji aided in the subordination of the supreme court to the executive branch and his successor as minister of law, Mochtar Kusumaatmadja. His exertion of pressure on courts to avoid giving citizens too many rights in tort cases were one factor that led to the establishment of formal administrative courts in the country, though his politics of patronage are still credited with whittling away the judiciary's independence by the 1970s. Election process The chief justice and his or her deputy is elected by the Supreme Court justices from among the members of the court. Indonesia's Minister of Law and Human Rights (') is the head of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights. The first minister was Soepomo, who took office on 19 August 1945. The current minister is Yasonna Laoly, who took office on 27 October 2014. The longest serving was Ismael Saleh, who served ten years from 19 March 1983 to 17 March 1993. The shortest serving was Marsillam Simanjuntak, who served 48 days from 2 June to 20 July 2001. Mochtar Kusumaatmadja
Mochtar Kusumaatmadja (17 February 1929 – 6 June 2021) was an Indonesian diplomat and politician. He was Indonesia's minister of justice from 1974 until 1978 and foreign minister from 1978 until 1988. Early life and education Kusumaatmadja was born on 17 February 1929 in Batavia, (now Jakarta). Kusumaatmadja joined the Union of Youth Students in Indonesia after independence in 1945 and fought in the Indonesian National Revolution as a member of the Student Army and the People's Security Army. After the revolution ended, Kusumaatmadja attended the Law Faculty of the University of Indonesia and pursued a double degree program from the Yale Law School. He graduated in 1955 with an undergraduate degree from the University of Indonesia and a Master of Laws degree from Yale Law School. The Southeast Asia Program (SEAP) was founded in 1950 to promote the acquisition and dissemination of knowledge about countries, cultures and languages of the region.
