Muhammad Syahmi bin Safari (born 5 February 1998) is a Malaysian professional footballer who plays as a right back or right winger for Malaysia Super League club Johor Darul Ta'zim and the Malaysia national team. Club career Early life Born and raised in Kuala Selangor, Syahmi was in the Selangor's youth team at the age of 17, having arrived from local side Bukit Jalil Sport School and Harimau Muda C. Selangor Syahmi was a key player for Selangor President Cup and Academy, making 46 appearances and scoring two goals. In December 2016, Selangor head coach, P. The AFC Cup is an annual continental club football competition organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). The Malaysia FA Cup ( ms, Piala FA) is an annual national knock-out football tournament in Malaysia. The cup was first held in 1990. The competition was previously managed by Football Association of Malaysia (FAM), before being transferred to Football Malaysia LLP (MFL) (now known as Malaysian Football League) in the 2016 season. The cup is contested among the clubs from the Malaysia Super League, Malaysia Premier League, Malaysia M3 League and Malaysia M4 League. The preliminary and first rounds are played between the clubs that qualified from the M3 and M4 League. The winners advance to the second round and join the rest of the clubs. Malaysia national under-19 football team (also known as Malaysia Under-19 or Malaysia U-19) represents Malaysia in international football competitions in AFF U-19 Youth Championship, AFC U-19 Championship and FIFA U-20 World Cup, as well as any other under-20 international football tournaments.
