Muguga is a settlement in Kenya's Kiambu County, formerly in Central Province. It is the location of a Veterinary Research Centre. Economy Spencon had a headquarters in Muguga. The offices were in prefabricated buildings formerly used as workshops. The property also had a golf facility installed after July 2015. Spencon Services Ltd. was a construction company headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya. History The company was established by Jitendra Chhotabhai Patel. In September 1979 incorporation occurred. In addition to its business in Kenya, began operating in Tanzania and Uganda, India, and Zambia in circa 1984-1985, 1988, and 1994, respectively. It also had operations in Malawi, Mozambique, and Southern Sudan. When the company was at its largest, its workforce numbered 5,000. Joel Gunter and Charles Young of the BBC stated that it was "one of the largest construction firms in East Africa." According to court testimony from Patel, Emerging Capital Partners (ECP) invested Kenyan shilling, KSh. 1.5 billion (United States dollar, US$15 million) into the company and used it to take 37.4% of the company in 2009 by changing the money into ordinary shares. Rahimtulla Tower
Rahimtulla Tower, also known as the Rahimtulla Trust Building, is a tower in the Upper Hill neighbourhood of Nairobi, Kenya. The tower is a reinforced concrete structure, and clad with blue-tinted glass and white louvre tiles. The tower has twenty-two storeys, including a double floor-height lobby, plus two basement floors. It is 16 storeys smaller than the New Central Bank Tower and the second tallest building in the country after the UAP Old Mutual Tower. The building is capped by a 30-metre high mast, for television and radio communication. The main tenants are iWay Africa, PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Dhanush InfoTech. The architect is Planning Systems Services, the structural engineers Mangat, I.B. Kiambu County
Kiambu County is a county in the former Central Province of Kenya. Its capital is Kiambu and its largest town is Thika. Kiambu County is the second most populous after Nairobi County. Kiambu County borders Nairobi and Kajiado Counties to the South, Machakos to the East, Murang'a to the North and North East, Nyandarua to the North West, and Nakuru to the West and has a population of 2,417,735. Central Province (Kenya)
The Central Province ( sw, Kati, ) was a region in central Kenya until 2013, when Kenya's provinces were replaced by a system of counties. It covered an area of and was located to the north of Nairobi and west of Mount Kenya (''see maps''). The province had 4,383,743 inhabitants according to the 2009 census. The provincial headquarters was Nyeri. Central Province was the ancestral home of the Gikuyu people. Climate The climate of Central Province is generally cooler than that of the rest of Kenya, due to the region's higher altitude.
