Muggsy (TV Series)
''Muggsy'' was a Saturday morning live action television program that aired on NBC in 1976–1977. Synopsis Filmed on location in Bridgeport, Connecticut, the show centered on Margaret “Muggsy” Malloy (Sarah MacDonnell), who lived with her older brother Nick (Ben Masters), a cab driver, in a furnished truck converted into an apartment, behind a gas station. The show followed Muggsy's life in the inner city and the problems she faced growing up, including drugs and gangs. ''Muggsy'' was one of few Saturday morning shows that dealt with the contemporary issues of the time. David Clayton-Thomas of Blood, Sweat & Tears sang the theme song. Ben Masters
Benjamin Masters (May 6, 1947 – January 11, 2023) was an American actor who is best known for his portrayal of Julian Crane in daytime drama ''Passions'' from July 8, 1999, to the show's final episode on August 7, 2008. Early life Masters was born in Corvallis, Oregon, and graduated from the University of Oregon as a theater major. Career Masters moved to New York City and landed a role in the off-Broadway play '' The Boys in the Band''. He also had a 13-month run in Kevin Wade's Key Exchange off-Broadway. The Broadway plays ''Captain Brassbound's Conversion'' with Ingrid Bergman and ''The Cherry Orchard'' with Irene Worth, Raul Julia, and Meryl Streep followed. Jimmy McCann
James "Maxie" McCann (born 4 March 1934) is a former soccer player from Dublin, Ireland. McCann joined Shamrock Rovers in 1954 and made his debut on 10 April in a 2–0 win against Bohemians at Dalymount Park having signed the previous week. He scored a hat-trick in his second senior game. He played for Shamrock Rovers as a winger. He played in European competition for the Milltown club, scoring in a 3–2 defeat for Rovers against Manchester United in a 1957 European Cup preliminary round tie at Old Trafford. This goal was the first ever scored in European competition by a player representing an Irish club. ''Monster Squad'' is a television series produced by D'Angelo-Bullock-Allen Productions that aired Saturday mornings on NBC from September 11, 1976, to September 3, 1977. It is unrelated to the later film of the same name. Premise The series stars Fred Grandy (who also starred in ''The Love Boat'' and was later elected to the United States House of Representatives) as Walt, a criminology student working as a night watchman at "Fred's Wax Museum". To pass the time, Walt built a prototype "Crime Computer" hidden in a large stone sarcophagus near an exhibit of legendary monsters.
