Mudhal Kural
''Mudhal Kural'' () is a 1992 Indian Tamil language drama film, directed by V. C. Guhunathan and produced by Nellai Anandan and Varadanandan. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan, Arjun Sarja and Kanaka. Plot Veluthambi, a popular rebel in Puliyampatti constituency, is seen by the ruling party as a threat to their senior leader and minister Mohanamba aka Mohana who is set to contest the upcoming election from the seat. Mohana's effort to tempt him out of her way is unsuccessful. Mohana's relative "Salpatta" Vasu, a wealthy businessman, sends henchmen to kill Veluthambi and his comrades. Veluthambi fights off the henchmen even as his comrades are burnt in a hut. However, the local police inspector (accompanying the henchmen) shoots him to death. The police tries to silence the resultant uproar among the people. But things get complicated as Jeeva, a senior journalist from ''Dina Madal'' comes in and tries to gather the truth for publication. Subbaiah Veerapandian (born 22 April 1952), known popularly as Suba Veerapandian or Subavee, is an Indian Tamils, Tamil Politics of Tamil Nadu, political activist, author, orator, former Tamil language, Tamil professor and former film artist. Manjula Vijayakumar (4 July 195423 July 2013) was an Indian actress. She acted in more than 100 films in South Indian languages like Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. Pulamaipithan
Pulavar Pulamaipithan (6 October 1935 – 8 September 2021) was an Indian scholar, poet and lyricist who got recognition through the song "Naan yaar nee yaar" which was featured in the Tamil film ''Kudiyirundha Koyil'' in 1968. He briefly served as the presidium chairman of AIADMK from 2002 to 2003, when he resigned citing ill-health. Biography Pulamaipithan was born in Irugur, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu on 6 October 1935. At the early age Pulavar used to work in textile mill known as Combodia mills in Coimbatore and also studied his Tamil literature in Tava Tiru Shanthalinga Adigalar Perur Tamil Kaluri Coimbatore. ''Karakattakkaran'' () is a 1989 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy dance film written and directed by Gangai Amaran. The film stars Ramarajan and debutant Kanaka, while Santhana Bharathi, Chandrasekhar, Goundamani, Senthil, Shanmugasundaram, Raja Bahadur, Ganthimathi and Kovai Sarala play supporting roles. It revolves around two karakattam dancers who fall in love with each other, but circumstances prevent them from confessing their love for one another. How they overcome these forms the rest of the story. The soundtrack was composed by Ilaiyaraaja and all the songs were well-received, in particular, "Maanguyilae Poonguyile". Thennavan is an Indian actor who has appeared in supporting roles. After making his debut in Bharathiraja's ''En Uyir Thozhan'' (1990), the actor was recognised for his work in ''Gemini'' (2002) ''Virumaandi'' (2004) and ''Jay Jay'' (2003). Career After graduating from Sarvajana High School, Coimbatore in 1984, Thennavan moved to Chennai to pursue a career in films.
