Mucky Pup
Mucky Pup were an American hardcore and crossover thrash band formed in Bergenfield, New Jersey, United States, in 1986, when brothers Chris (vocals) and John (drums) Milnes joined up with Scott Dottino (bass) and Dan Nastasi (guitar) as the cover band, Predator. The band soon began writing original material and changed the band name to Mucky Pup. Over the years, the band went through several line-up changes and musical style changes while gaining minor success in both the USA and Europe. Their breakthrough moment occurred when they won second place in a ''Bloom County'' comic strip contest, resulting in the band performing a song featured on a flexi disc packaged with a 1987 ''Bloom County'' comic strip compilation. However, their European success, based on strong tours and charting for the 1989 ''A Boy in a Man's World'' album, surpassed all recognition achieved in their home country. Trixter
Trixter is an American glam metal band from Paramus, New Jersey. The band achieved major success in the early 1990s with their top hit, "Give It To Me Good" reaching sixty-five on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1990. The band disbanded for several years as glam metal lost mainstream popularity. Career Early years Trixter was formed in June 1983 in Paramus, New Jersey, United States, by natives Steve Brown, and Doug "Dougie C." Cowie. Biohazard (band)
Biohazard is an American hardcore band formed in Brooklyn, New York City, in 1987. They are one of the earliest bands to fuse hardcore punk and heavy metal with elements of hip hop. The original lineup consisted of bassist/vocalist Evan Seinfeld, guitarist Bobby Hambel, and drummer Anthony Meo. Guitarist/vocalist Billy Graziadei joined soon after, and drummer Danny Schuler replaced Meo before the recording of their first album, thus solidifying the band's lineup from 1988 to 1995. After several lineup changes, a breakup, a 2008 reunion, and a seven-year period of inactivity, the classic lineup of Seinfeld, Graziadei, Hambel, and Schuler reunited in 2022 and announced upcoming performances in 2023. William Graziadei (born July 28, 1969) is an American musician best known as the lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist, and founding member of Biohazard. He is also the rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist of the band Powerflo and frontman for BillyBio, his latest solo project. In addition, he is the former rhythm guitarist for Suicide City. Graziadei also performed as part of the Roadrunner United project in 2005 as well as Blood for Blood in 2010. Additionally, through his music, Graziadei frequently speaks about the realities of inner city life in New York City, while promoting tolerance, speaking out against racism and opposing drug abuse. Colin Larkin (born 1949) is a British writer and entrepreneur. He founded, and was the editor-in-chief of, the ''Encyclopedia of Popular Music'', described by ''The Times'' as "the standard against which all others must be judged".
