Muckety
Muckety is a web site launched in 2007 by former newspaper journalists. The site uses interactive maps powered by Adobe Flash to show relationships between people, businesses and organizations. Muckety also publishes news stories about influential people and their connections to government, business and one another. The Economist described Muckety as an "American site which enriches news stories with interactive maps of the protagonists’ networks of influence" in its May 2009 article titled "The rebirth of news". Muckety was also featured on the New York Times Economix blog in May 2009. Catherine Rampell described Muckety as "catnip for conspiracy theorists" using the Muckety map of former Federal Reserve Bank of New York chairman Stephen Friedman (PFIAB) and his ties to Goldman Sachs an example of the importance of networks. Catherine Rampell
Catherine Chelsea Rampell (born November 4, 1984) is an American opinion journalist and nationally syndicated opinion columnist. Early life and education Rampell grew up in a Jewish family in South Florida, the daughter of Ellen (née Kahn), an accountant, and Richard Rampell. Rampell graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Princeton University with an A.B. in anthropology in 2007 after completing a 150-page-long senior thesis, titled "Hawk the Vote: Marketing Voting to American Youth", under the supervision of James A. Stephen Friedman (PFIAB)
Stephen Friedman (born December 21, 1937) is the former chairman of the US President's Intelligence Advisory Board. He was nominated on October 27, 2005, to replace Brent Scowcroft in the position. Early life and education Friedman was born in New York City, to a Jewish family. He received his BA from Cornell University in 1959 and his law degree from Columbia University Law School in 1962. At Cornell he was a wrestler and a member of the Quill and Dagger society. At Columbia he was on the Law Review. Career In 1966 Friedman joined Goldman Sachs and became a partner in 1973.
