Mt. Shasta High School is a public high school located in Mount Shasta, California in southern Siskiyou County. It is one of the five members of the Siskiyou Union High School District. Mt. Shasta High school's mascot is a bear and the rivaling team is the Weed High School Cougars. Overview Mt. Shasta high school was recognized as a California Distinguished High School in 2013. It also received a six year accreditation term during the 2009–10 school year. It operates on an 8 period schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 3:05 p.m. with a break for on or off campus lunch. A cornerback (CB) is a member of the defensive backfield or secondary in gridiron football.
