Mrs Wood
Mrs Wood (born Jane Rolink) is a British female DJ and record producer. Career Born in Barnsley, England she first became involved in the hardbag and UK techno scene since 1990. Mrs Wood first came to prominence via her output on the React record label. Her first single "Whodunnit?" was issued in 1994, shortly followed by one of her best-known releases, "Calamity Jane". In autumn 1995 Mrs Wood enjoyed crossover success with "Joanna", largely considered one of the defining tracks of the hardbag era. Featuring a tradestyle remix from Tony De Vit as well as her own more minimal version, "Joanna" became one of the first hardbag releases to reach the Top 40 of the UK Singles Chart, and was at this juncture one of the biggest-selling tracks to have been released on React. Barnsley
Barnsley () is a market town in South Yorkshire, England. As the main settlement of the Metropolitan Borough of Barnsley and the fourth largest settlement in South Yorkshire. In Barnsley, the population was 96,888 while the wider Borough has seen an increase of 5.8%, from 231,200 in 2011 census to 244,600 in 2021 census. Peter Harris (born 1961), popularly known as Blu Peter, is a British electronic dance music producer and disc jockey from South Wales, who pioneered the nu-NRG music genre in the late 1990s. Vincent de Moor (; born 1973, Delft, Netherlands) is a Dutch trance artist. He is most notable for his work with the record producer Ferry Corsten under the working title, " Veracocha," and for his 2001 single, "Fly Away". Musical career Early career De Moor first recorded in 1993 as Fix To Fax. Tracks released under this alias included "Enjoy Yourself", "Do U Feel It", "Pick It Up" and "Take Control". The A-side and B-side are the two sides of phonograph records and cassettes; these terms have often been printed on the labels of two-sided music recordings. Happy Clappers were a house studio project from the UK, featuring Chris Scott, Graeme Ripley, Martin Knotts and Mark Topham, with Sandra Edwards on vocals. Biography Happy Clappers scored chart success in the UK and Ireland from 1995 to 1997. Their highest peak in the UK charts was number seven with " I Believe". Eve Gallagher is an English singer from Sunderland, County Durham associated with the house music scene. Career Eve Gallagher first came to prominence in 1990 with the release of her debut single "Love Come Down". Released on Boy George's More Protein record label, it was a transatlantic club success featuring remixes from David Morales. Her second single was "Love is a Master of Disguise", produced and mixed by DMC's Steve Anderson, of Brothers In Rhythm.
