Mrs. Piss
Mrs. Piss is a collaborative project consisting of American musicians Chelsea Wolfe and Jess Gowrie. History Mrs. Piss played together in a band called Red Host in the early 2000s. The duo started the project while touring around Wolfe's 2017 album Hiss Spun. Wolfe said "Working on this project brought Jess and I so much closer as songwriters and production partners, after reuniting as friends and bandmates." Mrs. Piss released their debut album ''Self-Surgery'' on May 29, 2020. They shared two singles from the album - "Downer Surrounded by Uppers" and "Knelt" - on May 14. Sargent House
Sargent House is an American management company and record label based in Los Angeles. It was founded in June 2006 by Cathy Pellow, who is a music video commissioner for Atlantic Records and also owns a music video production company called Refused TV. Pellow began managing the rock outfit RX Bandits in 2006. Chelsea Wolfe
Chelsea Joy Wolfe (born November 14, 1983) is an American singer-songwriter and musician. Her work has blended elements of gothic rock, doom metal, and folk music. Raised in Northern California with a country musician father, Wolfe began writing and recording songs during her childhood. She earned underground critical acclaim for her releases, ''The Grime and the Glow'' (2010) and '' Apokalypsis'' (2011), which blended gothic and folk elements. In her later albums '' Pain Is Beauty'' (2013), ''Abyss'' (2015), and ''Hiss Spun'' (2017), Wolfe incorporated elements of neofolk, electronic music and heavy metal. ''Hiss Spun'' is the fifth studio album by American singer-songwriter Chelsea Wolfe, released on September 22, 2017, by Sargent House. The album was recorded in Salem, Massachusetts, at the studio of Converge guitarist Kurt Ballou. Produced by Wolfe and Ben Chisholm, the album also features guitar contributions from Troy Van Leeuwen of Queens of the Stone Age and a guest appearance from Aaron Turner of Isis. ''Hiss Spun'' received positive reviews from music critics, and peaked at No. 146 on the ''Billboard'' 200, becoming her second consecutive album to enter the chart.
