"Mr. Yin Presents..." is the sixteenth and final episode of the Psych (season 4), Fourth season of ''Psych'', and the 63rd episode in the series overall. It premiered on March 10, 2010 on USA Network in the United States. The episode serves as the season 4 finale and is the sequel to the Psych (season 3), third season's finale, "An Evening with Mr. Yang". It is an important installment in one of the series' few story arcs. A third and final installment of the Yin/Yang series, entitled "Yang 3 in 2D", aired as the Psych (season 5), fifth season finale. The series stars James Roday as Shawn Spencer, a young crime consultant for the Santa Barbara Police Department whose "heightened observational skills" and impressive eidetic memory allow him to convince people that he solves cases with psychic abilities. "Yang 3 in 2D" is the sixteenth and final episode of the fifth season of ''Psych'', and the 79th episode in the series overall. It is the third and last in a trilogy, which began with "An Evening with Mr. Yang" (3.16) and continued with " Mr. Yin Presents..." (4.16). The episode originally aired on December 22, 2010. Its title pays homage to the increasing number of film sequels to be released in 3-D. The Yin/Yang trilogy comes to a close as Shawn and Gus race to save a woman kidnapped by Mr. Yin. Only this time, they are forced to use Mr. Yang's knowledge of Yin to solve the case by allowing her to accompany them on the investigation. ''The 39 Steps'' is a 1935 British thriller film directed by Alfred Hitchcock and starring Robert Donat and Madeleine Carroll. It is very loosely based on the 1915 adventure novel '' The Thirty-Nine Steps'' by John Buchan. It concerns a Canadian civilian in London, Richard Hannay, who becomes caught up in preventing an organisation of spies called "The 39 Steps" from stealing British military secrets. Henry William Spencer, Jr. is a fictional character on the American television dramedy ''Psych''. He is played by American actor Corbin Bernsen. Karen C. Vick (née Dunlap) is a character on the American comedy detective drama ''Psych'' played by Kirsten Nelson.
