''Mr. Garlund'', also known as ''The Garlund Touch'', is a television drama broadcast on the CBS network in the United States that aired on Friday nights in the 1960-61 television season. Production The show premiered on October 7, 1960. The six episodes of the show were broadcast on the CBS network Fridays 9–9:30 PM (EST). The name of the show was changed to ''The Garlund Touch'' on November 11, 1960, after the premiere of the fifth episode and before the premiere of the sixth episode in December. Repeats continued until January 13, 1961. Charles Quinlivan
Charles Quinlivan (1924–1974) was a film and television actor in the United States in the 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s, best known as the star of the western movie ''Seven Guns to Mesa'', and of the short-lived 1960 TV series ''Mr. Garlund''. Personal life Charles Quinlivan was born September 30, 1924, in Jersey City, New Jersey. He married Evelyn Byrd Jervey, and had a daughter, Byrd, who is a physician, and a son, Charles, who is still active in the production side of the film industry. Philip Ahn
Philip Ahn (born Pillip Ahn (), March 29, 1905 – February 28, 1978) was an American actor and activist of Korean descent. With over 180 film and television credits between 1935 and 1978, he was one of the most recognizable and prolific Asian-American character actors of his time. He is widely regarded as the first Korean American film actor in Hollywood. Kam Tong
Kam Tong (December 18, 1906 – November 8, 1969) was a Chinese-American actor. He was best known for his role as Hey Boy on the CBS television series '' Have Gun, Will Travel'' and as Dr. Li in the film version of the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical ''Flower Drum Song''. Curiously, though appearing as a series regular on '' Have Gun, Will Travel'' he was never afforded a regular featured credit, always instead listed undistinguished from the support guest cast, perhaps an indication of inherent discrimination in that regard. Leslie Gaye Griffin (March 6, 1935 – July 14, 2016), better known as Lisa Gaye, was an American actress, and dancer. Early years Gaye was born in Denver, Colorado to Frank Henry Griffin, a painter, and Margaret Allen Griffin (née Gibson), an actress. The Griffin family moved from Denver to Los Angeles, California, in the 1930s to be close to the developing film industry. William Campbell (October 30, 1923 – April 28, 2011) was an American actor who appeared in supporting roles in major film productions, and also starred in several low-budget B-movies and horror films. Career Campbell's film career began in 1950, with a small part in the John Garfield film '' The Breaking Point.'' After several years of similar supporting performances in a number of films, including as a co-pilot in William Wellman's '' The High and the Mighty'' (1954), he won his first starring role in '' Cell 2455 Death Row'' (1955), a low-budget prison film for Columbia Pictures.
