JSC Mozyr Oil Refinery (also ''Mazyr Oil Refinery''; russian: Мозырский нефтеперерабатывающий завод; be, Мазырскі нафтаперапрацоўчы завод) is one of the 2 oil refineries in the Republic of Belarus (with the other one situated in the city of Novopolotsk). The refinery is located in the city of Mazyr. As of May 2022, Mozyr Oil Refinery is processing 13,700 tonnes of oil per day. OJSC Naftan (russian: ОАО «Нафтан»; be, ААТ «Нафтан») is a Belarusian state-owned oil refinery located in Novopolotsk (Navapolack) in Viciebsk Region. It's one of the two oil refineries in Belarus. History The Polotsk oil refinery was constructed in 1958—1963. The construction of the plant was launched in 1958 by order of the Soviet Union, USSR Council of Ministers.
