''Mozhi'' () is a 2007 Indian Tamil language musical romantic comedy film written and directed by Radha Mohan and produced by Prakash Raj. The film stars Jyothika, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Prakash Raj, and Swarnamalya. The film's plot is about Karthik (Prithviraj), who works as a musician in films. He falls in love with a deaf and mute girl, Archana (Jyothika), but she considers him as her friend and disapproves of his love. The rest of the story revolves around Archana accepting Karthik's love. The film was launched in 2006 and shot at several locations in India and Mauritius. Vidyasagar scored the music while lyrics were written by Vairamuthu. Mu. Kasivishwanathan handled the editing and K. V. Guhan worked as the cinematographer. The dialogues were written by Viji. The film was released on 23 February 2007 and emerged a critical and commercial success. Radha Mohan
Radha Mohan is an Indian film director of the South Indian film industry. He is known for his work in the films '' Mozhi'' (2007), ''Abhiyum Naanum'' (2008), '' Payanam'' (2011) and ''Kaatrin Mozhi'' (2018). Career Radha Mohan began work on his first film was ''Smile Please'' in 1996, which had dialogues written by his friend Babu, who had appeared in the lead role in ''En Uyir Thozhan'' (1990). The film was to star Prakash Raj in the lead role, but financial restraints meant that the film was later shelved. The film was later set for release during Diwali 1998 under the title of ''Ananthakrishnan'', but still failed to clear financial hurdles. The director worked under R. V. Elango Kumaravel (born 27 August 1965) is an Indian theatre actor and writer. He is also a co-founder of the Chennai based theatre group "Magic Lantern".
