Moyo Town
Moyo, is the main municipal, administrative, and commercial center of Moyo District in the Northern Region of Uganda. The district headquarters are located here. Location The town of Moyo is located approximately , by road, north-east of Arua, the largest city in the West Nile sub-region. This is about north-west of Gulu, the largest city in the Northern Region of Uganda. Moyo lies approximately northwest of Kampala, the capital and largest city of Uganda. Flag Of Uganda
The flag of Uganda ( Ugandan Languages: ''Bendera ya Uganda'') was adopted on 9 October 1962, the date that Uganda became independent from the British Empire. It consists of six equal horizontal bands of black (top), yellow, red, black, yellow, and red (bottom); a white disc is superimposed at the centre and depicts the national symbol, a grey crowned crane, facing the hoist's side. During the colonial era the British used a British Blue ensign defaced with the colonial badge, as prescribed in 1865 regulations. The Uganda Bureau of Statistics ("UBOS") is an agency of the Ugandan government. Formed by the Uganda Bureau of Statistics Act, 1998, the agency is mandated to "coordinate, monitor and supervise Uganda's National Statistical System". Uganda Martyrs University (UMU) is a private University affiliated with the Roman Catholic Church in Uganda. The University is owned by the Episcopal Conference of the Catholic Bishops of Uganda. Moyo General Hospital
Moyo General Hospital also Moyo Hospital, is a hospital in the Northern Region of Uganda. Location The hospital is located in the central business district of Moyo Town, in Moyo District, in West Nile sub-region, in Northern Uganda, approximately northeast of Arua Regional Referral Hospital. The Atiak–Adjumani–Moyo–Afonji Road is in the Northern Region of Uganda, connecting the towns of Atiak, Adjumani, Moyo, and Afoji at the international border with South Sudan.
