The Movement for a United Communist Party of Greece ( el, Κίνηση για Ενιαίο ΚΚΕ) was a minor Greek political organisation. The movement was established in 1993 as the union of the pro-Albanian Organisation of Marxist-Leninist Communists of Greece (OKMLE -not to be confused with OMLE) and exiled Greek communists from the former Soviet Union and other ex-socialist countries, old EAM-ELAS soldiers and officers, followers of Nikolaos Zachariadis who disconnected with Communist Party of Greece (KKE) after its De-Stalinization the period 1953–1956. It was a Stalinist organization which struggled for the unification of all Greek communists in one Marxist–Leninist party. In 1996, it merged with communists publishing the newspaper ''Post-Soviet Epoch'' and other independent Greek Stalinists to form Movement for the Reorganization of the Communist Party of Greece 1918-55. The Communist Party of Greece ( el, Κομμουνιστικό Κόμμα Ελλάδας, ''Kommounistikó Kómma Elládas'', KKE) is a political party in Greece. Founded in 1918 as the Socialist Labour Party of Greece and adopted its current name in November 1924. It is the oldest political party in modern Greek politics. The party was banned in 1936, but played a significant role in the Greek resistance and the Greek Civil War, and its membership peaked in the mid-1940s. Legalization of the KKE was restored following the fall of the Greek military junta of 1967–1974. The party has returned MPs in all elections since its restoration in 1974, and took part in a coalition government in 1989 when it got more than 13% of the vote. Anti-revisionist Organizations
Anti-revisionism is a position within Marxism–Leninism which emerged in the 1950s in opposition to the reforms of Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev. Where Khrushchev pursued an interpretation that differed from his predecessor Joseph Stalin, the anti-revisionists within the international communist movement remained dedicated to Stalin's ideological legacy and criticized the Soviet Union under Khrushchev and his successors as state capitalist and social imperialist. The term Stalinism is also used to describe these positions, but it is often not used by its supporters who opine that Stalin simply synthesized and practiced orthodox Marxism and Leninism.
