Movement For Unification
The Movement for Unification ( sq, Lëvizja për Bashkim, ''LB'') is a political party in Kosovo. Its main goal is unification of Kosovo and all other former Yugoslavian territories populated by Albanians to Albania. Its leader is Avni Klinaku, known as co-founder of former National Movement for the Liberation of Kosovo ( sq, Lëvizjes Kombëtare për Çlirimin e Kosovës, LKÇK), a nationalist organization of the 1980s promoting active resistance and separation of Kosovo from Yugoslavia, having some connections to People's Movement of Kosovo (PMK). Political activity During 2010 elections in Kosovo, the party ran in coalition with Vetëvendosje, within the latter's parliamentary group, but split the following year. Kosovo War
The Kosovo War was an armed conflict in Kosovo that started 28 February 1998 and lasted until 11 June 1999. It was fought by the forces of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (i.e. Serbia and Montenegro), which controlled Kosovo before the war, and the Kosovo Albanians, Kosovo Albanian rebel group known as the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA). The conflict ended when the NATO, North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) NATO bombing of Yugoslavia, intervened by beginning air strikes in March 1999 which resulted in Yugoslav forces withdrawing from Kosovo. The Albanians of Kosovo ( sq, Shqiptarët e Kosovës, ), also commonly called Kosovo Albanians, Kosovar/Kosovan Albanians or Kosovars/Kosovans, constitute the largest ethnic group in Kosovo. Movement for Integration and Unification, ( sq, Lëvizja Kombëtare për Integrim dhe Bashkim) was a radical nationalist political party in Kosovo, being a direct successor of National Movement for the Liberation of Kosovo, ( sq, Lëvizja Kombëtare për Çlirimin e Kosovës, LKÇK), a radical left-wing nationalist political movement in Kosovo, coming out as a faction of LPK in the 1990s promoting war against the Yugoslavian authorities and strong Albanian irredentism.
