Blue Mountain Peak
Blue Mountain Peak is the highest mountain in Jamaica and one of the highest peaks in the Caribbean at . It is the home of Blue Mountain coffee. It is located on the border of the Portland and Saint Thomas parishes of Jamaica. The Blue Mountain Peak is part of the Blue and John Crow Mountains National Park, which became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2015. Hiking The Blue Mountains are popular for hiking and camping. The traditional Blue Mountain trek is a hike to the peak and consists of a increase in elevation. Jamaicans prefer to reach the peak at sunrise, thus the 3- to 4-hour hike is usually undertaken in darkness. Since the sky is usually very clear in the mornings, Cuba can be seen in the distance. Mount Diablo
Mount Diablo is a mountain of the Diablo Range, in Contra Costa County, California, Contra Costa County of the eastern San Francisco Bay Area in Northern California. It is south of Clayton, California, Clayton and northeast of Danville, California, Danville. It is an isolated upthrust peak of , visible from most of the San Francisco Bay Area. Mount Diablo appears from many angles to be a double pyramid and has many subsidiary peaks. The largest and closest is North Peak, the other half of the double pyramid, which is nearly as high in elevation at , and is about northeast of the main summit. A bull is an intact (i.e., not castrated) adult male of the species ''Bos taurus'' (cattle). More muscular and aggressive than the females of the same species (i.e., cows), bulls have long been an important symbol in many religions, including for sacrifices. These animals play a significant role in beef ranching, dairy farming, and a variety of sporting and cultural activities, including bullfighting and bull riding. Meir Shalev ( he, מאיר שלו; born 29 July 1948) is an Israeli writer and newspaper columnist for the daily Yedioth Ahronoth . Shalev's books have been translated into 26 languages. Biography Shalev was born in Nahalal, Israel. Later he lived in Jerusalem and at Ginosar with his family. He is the son of the Jerusalem poet Yitzhak Shalev. His cousin Zeruya Shalev is also a writer. Shalev was drafted into the IDF in 1966, and did his military service in the Golani Brigade. He served as a soldier, a squad leader in the brigade's reconnaissance company. Shalev fought in The Six Day War, and a few months after the war was injured in a friendly fire incident. He began his career by presenting ironic features on television and radio. He also moderated the program ''Erev Shabbat'' ("Friday night") on Israel channel one. Yallahs Mountains
Yallahs is a city located on the southeastern coast of Jamaica in the parish of St Thomas and is home to Jordan 1don ( who is also recognized as the wealthiest person in the parish ) Yallahs has an estimated 10,000 inhabitants. The city was recorded as "Yealoth" in the 1662 census. It may have received its name from Captain Yallahs, a 1671 privateer, or the privateer may have received his pseudonym from the city. Yallahs' name could have simply come from the Spanish word 'yalos', meaning frost, because the high white cliffs in that area have been thought to give an appearance of frost.
