Mountain View High School (Washington)
Mountain View High School is a public high school located in Vancouver, Washington. It was the second high school built in the Evergreen Public Schools, and one of four high schools in the area. History Opened in 1981, Mountain View was the second high school built in the Evergreen Public Schools after Evergreen High School and followed by Heritage High School and Union High School. The four high schools share one football stadium, McKenzie Stadium, which is located adjacent to Evergreen High School. Derek Raivio
Derek Raivio (born November 9, 1984) is an American former professional basketball player who last played for Benfica of the Portuguese Basketball League. College career Raivio played for four seasons at Gonzaga University under coach Mark Few from 2003-2007. Prior to Gonzaga, Raivio played for Mountain View High School in Vancouver. Raivio set both season and career school records, scoring 1,568 points. At Gonzaga he was named co- West Coast Conference Player of the Year his senior season. Raivio was named West Coast Conference Co-Player of the Year as a senior, sharing the honor with Sean Denison of Santa Clara. He finished his collegiate career as the second all-time career free throw shooting percentage leader in NCAA Division I history (.927). Scott Boothby is a male hammer thrower from the United States. Boothby is ranked among the top 20 Throwers (All-Time) in USA Track and Field History (Throwing Event-Hammer Throw) by Track and Field News Magazine. He was a two time member of the USA Track and Field Team and participated in 3 Olympic Team Trials for Team USA (1996, 2000, 2004). His best distance achieved was 243 feet 5 inches (2005). Robert Ramsay (baseball)
Robert Arthur Ramsay (December 3, 1973 – August 4, 2016) was a Major League Baseball pitcher. He pitched parts of two seasons, 1999 and 2000, for the Seattle Mariners, then battled brain cancer for nearly fifteen Early years Born and raised in Vancouver, Washington, Ramsay graduated from its Mountain View High School in 1992. Michael Roos (born Mihkel Roos, October 5, 1982) is a former football offensive tackle who played his entire career for the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Titans in the second round of the 2005 NFL Draft. He played college football at Eastern Washington.
