Mountain House High School is a four-year, public high school located in the town of Mountain House near Tracy, California. On July 17, 2012, Lammersville Joint Unified School District broke ground on construction. The school opened in the Fall of 2014. Academics Mountain House High School offers Honors and Advanced Placement (AP) courses and professional pathways in Biomedical Sciences, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Culinary and Catering, and Dance. Mountain House is a planned community in San Joaquin County, California. It is located in the East Bay region of the San Francisco Bay Area at the border of the San Joaquin Valley and the San Francisco Bay Area, Mountain House is northwest of Tracy, 10 miles from Livermore, 0.5 miles from Interstate 580 to San Francisco, and about east of San Francisco. The population was 24,499 at the 2020 census. For statistical purposes, the United States Census Bureau has defined Mountain House as a census-designated place (CDP). History The Cholbon triblet of the Northern Valley Yokuts were the original inhabitants of the Mountain House area. Their territory ran along Old River a distributary of the San Joaquin River.
