Mount Webb National Park
Daarrba National Park (Cape York Peninsula Aboriginal Land) is a national park in Queensland, Australia. It is 1,602 km northwest of Brisbane. The national park was previously named Mount Webb National Park until it was renamed on 28 November 2013. Vegetation The national park features a number of unique and threatened ecosystems including rare examples of complex rainforest vegetation communities developed upon Basalt soils within the Cape York Peninsula bioregion. Cooktown, Queensland
Cooktown is a coastal town and locality in the Shire of Cook, Queensland, Australia. Cooktown is at the mouth of the Endeavour River, on Cape York Peninsula in Far North Queensland where James Cook beached his ship, the Endeavour, for repairs in 1770. Both the town and Mount Cook (431 metres or 1,415 feet) which rises up behind the town were named after James Cook.
