Mount Ulandra
Mount Ulandra is a mountain with an elevation of that is located within the Ulandra Nature Reserve in the South West Slopes region of New South Wales, Australia. The mountain is located approximately south-west of and south-east of . Atop the mountain are telecommunications towers, including television broadcast towers for all television networks covering much of the Riverina region. The reserve is located on the western hills of the Southern Tablelands. To the west of the reserve lies an undulating above sea level plain which rises abruptly at Mount Ulandra's summit. Olympic Highway is a rural road in the central western and south-eastern Riverina regions of New South Wales, Australia. Ulandra Nature Reserve
The Ulandra Nature Reserve is a protected nature reserve that is located in the west hills of the Southern Tablelands and eastern Riverina regions of New South Wales in eastern Australia. The reserve is situated approximately south-west of and south-east of the village of . The reserve's main feature is Mount Ulandra. Immediately west of the reserve lies an undulating plain that varies between above sea level which rises abruptly at Mount Ulandra to its summit at above sea level. The reserve was dedicated in 1981 to protect stands of Cootamundra wattle. The reserve is used for foraging and reproduction by the threatened superb parrot. It was then progressively added to until 1983. The reserve is listed on the Register of the National Estate. The National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) is a directorate of the New South Wales Department of Planning and Environment responsible for managing most of the protected areas in the state of New South Wales, Australia. ''Acacia baileyana'' or Cootamundra wattle is a shrub or tree in the flowering plant family Fabaceae. The scientific name of the species honours the botanist Frederick Manson Bailey. It is indigenous to a very small area in southern inland New South Wales, comprising Temora, Cootamundra, Stockinbingal and Bethungra districts. However, it has been widely planted in other Australian states and territories.
