Motopark Academy (raced under Lotus moniker from 2012 to 2014) is an auto racing team based in Oschersleben, Germany, next to the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben race track. In 2013, the team competed in the GP2 Series under the name Russian Time and have operated a satellite team called CryptoTower Racing. History Single-seaters The team have competed in open-wheel racing consistently since the start of the 21st century. They have competed in the Formula 3 Euro Series since 2009. Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 They were teams' champions in the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 in 2004, with their American driver Scott Speed taking the drivers' title with eight wins. Euroformula Open Championship
The Euroformula Open Championship (formerly the Spanish Formula Three Championship, European F3 Open Championship) is a junior formula racing series based in Spain. It was one of six national and international Formula Three championships in Europe and Scandinavia that together used to form an important part of the established "career ladder" below Formula One. The championship's first season was held in 2001. In 2006, it was branded as the Spanish F3 Championship by Toyota, in deference to its sole engine supplier. In 2020, the championship ceased to be a F3-championship and will share its specifications with Japan's Super Formula Lights based on the previous-generation Formula Three standards, primarily with a choice of engines. 2004 Formula Renault 2000 Germany Season
The 2004 Formula Renault 2000 Germany season was the thirteenth Formula Renault 2000 Germany season. The season began at Oschersleben on 8 May and finished on 9 October at the same venue, after fourteen races. Motopark Oschersleben driver Scott Speed won four races on his way to championship title. His compatriot Colin Fleming of the Jenzer Motorsport won races at Salzburgring and Lausitz. Michael Ammermüller completed the top 3 without winning a race. The same number of wins as the champion had Pascal Kochem, who finished fourth. Other wins were shared between Frank Kechele, Reinhard Kofler and Pekka Saarinen, who finished sixth, seventh and eighth respectively. Christian Mansell (born 9 February 2005) is an Australian racing driver set to compete in the 2023 FIA Formula 3 Championship with Campos Racing. He previously competed in the 2022 Euroformula Open Championship for CryptoTower Racing, finishing in third overall in the standings. Career Karting Mansell did not achieve much karting success, his highest finish in the CIK-FIA Karting European Championship came in 2019, where he achieved 69th in the OKJ category. 2004 Formula Renault 2000 Eurocup Season
The 2004 Formula Renault 2000 Eurocup season was the fourteenth Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 season. The season began at Monza on 27 March and finished at Oschersleben on 18 September, after seventeen races. American driver Scott Speed scored eight victories at Hockenheimring, Brno, Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, Imola and Oschersleben during the season. He took the championship with a round to spare at the wheel of his Motopark Academy-run car, giving team based at Oschersleben their first Eurocup championship after double win on fellow circuit. Second place was not resolved until the final round, as Graff Racing's Simon Pagenaud and Jenzer Motorsport's Colin Fleming battled over the placing. Starting in the 2016–17 season, the all new Formula 4 UAE Championship was launched by the Federation Internationale de l'Automobile, and its national affiliate the Automobile & Touring Club of the United Arab Emirates (ATCUAE), who acted as the championship's promoter. Frederick Lubin (born 23 August 2004) is a British racing driver of American descent scheduled to compete in the FIA World Endurance Championship for United Autosports. Early career F4 British Championship After beginning his karting career at the comparatively late age of 14, Lubin made his single-seater debut in the F4 British Championship in 2020, partnering Alex Connor and Roman Bilinski as the only rookie at the TRS Arden Junior Team. He started off the season with relative success, scoring points in all three races at Donington Park. However, Lubin was unable to score another hattrick of points until the fifth round of the campaign at Thruxton. Alejandro García González (born 17 July 2003), is a Mexican racing driver due to compete in the 2023 FIA Formula 3 Championship with Jenzer Motorsport. Oliver Goethe (born 14 October 2004) is a Danish-German racing driver based in Monaco, who is set to compete in the 2023 FIA Formula 3 Championship with Trident. Vladislav "Vlad" Lomko (born 27 December 2004) is a Russian racing driver currently competing in Euroformula Open with CryptoTower Racing. He is the reigning Pau Grand Prix winner. Russian Time (previously known as RT Russian Time) was a Russian motor racing team founded by Igor Mazepa to compete in the GP2 Series, a category of open-wheel racing cars designed to prepare drivers for Formula One. From 2015 to 2018, the team was managed by Virtuosi Racing.
