Moti Nandi
Moti Nandi; 10 July 1931 – 3 January 2010) was a Bengali writer and journalist. Career Moti Nandi was from Kolkata. He graduated from the University of Calcutta and became a sports journalist and worked as a sports editor in ''Anandabazar Patrika''. He was awarded the Lifetime Achievement award (2008) at a ceremony to mark the grand finale of the maiden edition of the Excellence in Journalism Awards. His first short story was published in '' Desh'' weekly in 1957. His story for Pujabarshiki was in ''Parichoy'' Magazine in 1985. The character ''Kalabati'' from his novels is popular among the younger audience. Kolkata, West Bengal
Kolkata (, or , ; also known as Calcutta , the official name until 2001) is the capital of the Indian state of West Bengal, on the eastern bank of the Hooghly River west of the border with Bangladesh. Animesh Aich
Animesh Aich (born 8 February) is a Bangladeshi film maker, actor, director and writer. He won the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Art Direction for the film '' Guerrilla'' (2011). As of 2019, he directed three films and several television dramas. Education Aich studied sculpting at Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Dhaka. Career Aich joined an advertising company as a copy writer. Aich and some other contemporary directors such as Mostofa Sarwar Farooki, Tarek Shahriar, Nurul Alam Atique were involved with ''Jolchobi''. Later he joined as an associate director in ''Cycle er Dana''. He debuted in directing through a television drama named ''Kufa'' in 2002. Mohun Bagan AC
Mohun Bagan Athletic Club is an Indian professional sports club based in Kolkata, West Bengal. Founded in 1889, its football section is one of the oldest in India and Asia. The club is most notable for its victory over East Yorkshire Regiment in the 1911 IFA Shield final. This victory made Mohun Bagan the first all-Indian side to win a championship over a British side and was a major moment during India's push for independence. Although Mohun Bagan is a multi-sport club, the primary sport since its foundation had been football. They have won the top-flight football league a record five times – the National Football League three times, and the I-League twice. They were the most successful team of India in the history of the Federation Cup, having won the championship a record 14 times.
