Moscow Basketball Derby is the name given to professional basketball games between CSKA Moscow of Moscow, and Khimki Moscow Region, from Khimki in Moscow Oblast. It is considered to be the biggest rivalry in Russian basketball. Khimki Basketball Center, or Khimki Basketball Center of Moscow Region, is an indoor sporting arena that is located in Khimki, Russia. MBC Dynamo Moscow
MBC Dynamo Moscow (russian: МБК Динамо Москва) was a Russian basketball team from Moscow. It was active for 93 years (from 1923 until 2016) as professional club, before being dissolved due to financial problems. The club had several successful years in the highest division in Russian basketball. In 2006, Dynamo won a continental trophy in the Eurocup. The Gomelsky Cup is an annual basketball tournament held in Moscow in the fall. Four European teams are selected to participate in the tournament. The four teams face off in the semifinal bracket; the two winners of each match play each other, while the losers also play each other for third place. VTB United League (russian: Единая Лига ВТБ) is an international professional men's club basketball list of basketball leagues, league that was founded in 2008. It is made up of mostly Russian clubs, along with one each from Belarus and Kazakhstan. Since VTB United League 2013–14, 2013, it is the Russian basketball league system, first tier of Russian professional club basketball.
