Morphic (band)
Morphic was an American heavy metal band formed in Royal Oak, Michigan, in 2000. The band's final lineup consisted of John Webb (lead vocals), Josh DeVries (guitar), Wes Alfonsi (bass guitar), Andrew Hale (lead guitar) and Matt (drums, percussion). Previously, the group also featured guitarist Tomo Miličević, who joined Thirty Seconds to Mars in 2003. The band was formed under the name Loki; later they agreed on changing its name to Morphic. By 2001, the group performed gigs at small Michigan venues and clubs. During this period, the band recorded demo tracks such as "Smart" and "The Priest". Arthur Spivak, who had seen the group at a showcase concert at The Viper Room in Los Angeles, offered to become the band's manager in the summer of 2001. During the year, Morphic opened concerts for The Used and 12 Stones. In 2002, Miličević left the band (he later joined Thirty Seconds to Mars) and was replaced by Andrew Hale. Royal Oak, Michigan
Royal Oak is a city in Oakland County in the U.S. state of Michigan. An inner-ring suburb of Detroit, Royal Oak is about north of Detroit's city limits. As of the 2010 census, the city had a population of 57,236. Royal Oak is located along the Woodward Corridor, and is served by Interstate 75 and Interstate 696. The city has one of the largest downtowns in Detroit's suburbs, and is also home to much of the Detroit Zoo, with portions extending into neighboring Huntington Woods. Kittie
Kittie is a Canadian Heavy metal music, heavy metal band formed in London, Ontario in 1996. All of their material has been released through independent record labels, which to date includes six studio albums, one video album, four extended plays, thirteen singles, and thirteen music videos. "Kittie" was chosen as the band name because the name "seemed contradictory." Kittie formed in 1996 when Fallon Bowman and Mercedes Lander met in gym class.
