The family gave birth to ambassadors, politicians, generals and procurators of Saint Mark, bishops, patriarchs and a doge. Simone Moro
Simone Moro (born 27 October 1967 in Bergamo) is an Italian alpinist known for having made first winter ascents of four of the fourteen eight-thousanders: Shishapangma in 2005, Makalu in 2009, Gasherbrum II in 2011, and Nanga Parbat in 2016. He has also summited Everest four times, in 2000, 2002, 2006, and 2010. Moro is also an experienced helicopter pilot. In 2013, he and two other rescue experts carried out the world's highest long-line rescue operation on a helicopter, on Lhotse, at 7800m. The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire is a British order of chivalry, rewarding contributions to the arts and sciences, work with charitable and welfare organisations, and public service outside the civil service. Peter Meinhard Moro (27 May 1911 – 10 October 1998) was a London-based architect whose practice developed many notable public buildings. He was the son of Austrian physician and paediatrician Ernst Moro. Life and works Moro was born in Heidelberg, Germany to Professor Ernst Moro, a renowned Austrian physician and pediatrician, and Margareta Hönigswald. He initially trained in Stuttgart and then at the Berlin-Charlottenburg Technical Academy. Having a Jewish grandmother, he was obliged to move to Zurich for his final two years, studying under Otto Rudolf Salvisberg, Otto Salvisberg. Óscar Moro (January 24, 1948 – July 11, 2006) was an Argentine rock drummer. Óscar Moro was born and raised in Rosario. Moro joined a childhood friend, Litto Nebbia, and three others in forming the pioneer Argentine rock and roll band Los Gatos, in 1966. The group became known for their all-night performances, and composed most of their own songs, many in the well-known neighborhood café, "La Perla del Once" (facing Plaza Miserere). One such composition, " La balsa" (''The Raft''), was written at that location by Nebbia and the ill-fated songwriter Tanguito on May 2, 1967, and following its release on the RCA Victor label on July 3, sold over 250,000 copies. Nikola Moro (; born 12 March 1998) is a Croatian professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for club Bologna on loan from the Russian Premier League club Dynamo Moscow and the Croatia national team. Iván Moro Fernández (born December 25, 1974, in Madrid) is a water polo player from Spain, who was a member of the national team that won the gold medal at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia. He also competed for his native country in the Summer Games of 2000 and 2004. He was the World Champion with Spain in 1998 in Perth, and in 2001 in Fukuoka. Fabrizio Mobrici (born 9 April 1975), known by his stage name Fabrizio Moro, is an Italian singer-songwriter. He released his debut album in 2000 and he achieved commercial success in 2007, after winning the Newcomers' Section of the Sanremo Music Festival with his entry "Pensa".
