Mork (file Format)
Mork is a computer file format used by several email clients and web browsers produced by Netscape, and later, Mozilla Foundation. It was developed by David McCusker with the aim of creating a minimal database replacement that would be reliable, flexible, and efficient, and use a file format close to plain text. Usage The Mork format was used in most Mozilla-based projects, including the Mozilla browser suite, SeaMonkey, Firefox, and Thunderbird. In Firefox, it was used for browsing history data and form history data. In Thunderbird, it is still used for many things, such as address book data (.mab files) and the mail folder summaries (.msf files). Criticisms Mork has many suboptimal properties. For example, despite the aim of efficiency, storing Unicode text takes three or six bytes per character. The file format has been severely criticized by Jamie Zawinski, a former Netscape engineer. Hans Mork
Hans Eric Mork (1 November 1909 – 2 January 1960) was a South African-born Australian rugby league footballer who played in the 1920s and 1930s. He played in Sydney for the Newtown club (with whom he won the 1933 NSWRFL Premiership), as well as in Newcastle for the Western Suburbs club and elsewhere in country New South Wales. Background Mork was born in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. Playing career Mork was one of four brothers to play for Newtown. He was graded with the club in 1927 and made it to first grade two years later. He played eight seasons with Newtown between 1929 and 1938 with a few country captain-coach seasons in between. He was captain-coach of the Newcastle Rugby League's Western Suburbs club in 1932. Mork represented N.S.W. Happy Days
''Happy Days'' is an American television sitcom that aired first-run on the ABC network from January 15, 1974, to July 19, 1984, with a total of 255 half-hour episodes spanning 11 seasons. Created by Garry Marshall, it was one of the most successful series of the 1970s. ''Mork & Mindy'' is an American television sitcom that aired on ABC from September 14, 1978, to May 27, 1982. A spin-off after a highly successful episode of ''Happy Days'', "My Favorite Orkan", it starred Robin Williams as Mork, an extraterrestrial who comes to Earth from the planet Ork, and Pam Dawber as Mindy McConnell, his human friend, roommate, and eventual love interest. St Briavels
St Briavels (pronounced ''Brevels'', once known as 'Ledenia Parva' (Little Lydney)), is a medium-sized village and civil parish in the Royal Forest of Dean in west Gloucestershire, England; close to the England-Wales border, and south of Coleford, Gloucestershire, Coleford. It stands almost above sea level on the edge of a limestone plateau above the valley of the River Wye, above an ancient meander of the river. Morek ( ar, مورك, also spelled ''Murik'', ''Mork'', or ''Murak'') is a Syrian town located in the Suran Subdistrict in Hama District. According to the Syria Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Morek had a population of 14,307 in the 2004 census. Morek is the center of the country's pistachio production. Through Morek, passes the M5 highway which connects Hama with Aleppo. History In 1838, its inhabitants were noted to be predominantly Sunni Muslims. Syrian Civil War During the Syrian civil war the city was the sight of the Battle of Morek. The Aliens (TV Series)
''The Aliens'' is a British science fiction television series created by Fintan Ryan. It is set 40 years after aliens land in the Irish Sea and are reluctantly integrated into British society in the fictional city of Troy. Border guard Lewis Garvey, played by Michael Socha, is caught up in the criminal underbelly of Troy as he learns he is himself half-alien. Mark Lee (born August 2, 1999), professionally known as Mark, is a Canadian rapper, singer, dancer and songwriter based in South Korea. He is a member of the South Korean boy band NCT and its fixed sub-units NCT 127 and NCT Dream, as well as the South Korean supergroup SuperM. Mark Tuan (born Mark Yien Tuan (; ko, 마크투안), on September 4, 1993), known mononymously as Mark, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter and model. He is a member of the South Korean boy group Got7. Biography Born as Mark Yien Tuan in Los Angeles, California, he spent a number of years in Paraguay and Brazil before eventually returning to California, where he grew up. He is Taiwanese, and has two older sisters and one younger brother. He took violin and piano lessons in elementary school, and moved to guitar in junior high school. Adrien Mörk (born 19 September 1979) is a French professional golfer. In 2006 he recorded the first ever sub 60 round on any tour run by the PGA European Tour. Career Mörk was born in Montbéliard. He attended McNeese State University in the United States. He has been a professional since 2004 and, after finding success on the third tier Alps Tour, was a Challenge Tour rookie in 2006. On 26 May 2006, in the second round of the Tikida Hotels Agadir Moroccan Classic, Mörk shot the first 59 in the history of the Challenge Tour, European Tour or European Seniors Tour.
