The Geographic Names Information System (GNIS) is a database of name and locative information about more than two million physical and cultural features throughout the United States and its territories, Antarctica, and the associated states of the Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, and Palau. It is a type of gazetteer. It was developed by the United States Geological Survey (USGS) in cooperation with the United States Board on Geographic Names (BGN) to promote the standardization of feature names. The offense, the team with possession of the oval-shaped football, attempts to advance down the field by running with the ball or passing it, while the defense, the team without possession of the ball, aims to stop the offense's advance and to take control of the ball for themselves. Alex Gibbs
Alexander Gibbs, Jr. (February 22, 1941 – July 12, 2021) was an American professional football coach who was a longtime offensive line coach in the National Football League (NFL). He coached college football for over a decade before joining the Denver Broncos of the NFL in 1984. He won two Super Bowls with Denver. Gibbs was a well known proponent of the zone blocking scheme and popularized its use while he was offensive line coach of the Broncos. Denver became famous at that time for its use of smaller and more agile offensive linemen and the success of its running backs, most notably Terrell Davis. Gibbs was to enter his first season on Pete Carroll's Seattle Seahawks staff as the assistant head coach and offensive line coach in 2010, but announced his unexpected retirement a week before the start of the NFL's 2010 regular season. North Carolina Highway 62
North Carolina Highway 62 (NC 62) is a primary state highway in the U.S. state of North Carolina. Primarily in the Piedmont Triad, it runs from NC 109 in Thomasville northeast to the Virginia state line in Milton. Route description NC 62 begins in Thomasville at the intersection of Randolph Street ( NC 109) and Julian Avenue; it is from I-85 and shadows the Interstate from Thomasville to Archdale. East of Archdale, it overlaps with NC Bike Route 2 through the communities of Climax and Julian. Burlington is a city in Alamance and Guilford counties in the U.S. state of North Carolina. It is the principal city of the Burlington, North Carolina Metropolitan Statistical Area, which encompasses all of Alamance County, in which most of the city is located, and is a part of the Greensboro-Winston-Salem-High Point CSA.
