Jacques Morali (4 July 1947 – 15 November 1991) was a French disco and dance music record producer and songwriter, known for creating acts like The Ritchie Family and Village People. Early life Morali was born in Casablanca, Morocco. He may have had Jewish ancestry. Career Beginning in France He made his start in the music business at the end of the 1960s, writing music for orchestras in Paris, for the Crazy Horse, for himself as a solo artist (he played in 1967 show "Elle aime, elle n'aime pas" and released a single of the same title) but also for performers like Peter Fersen. Viva Zapata (Venus VS-71451), one of his first French productions, was sung by "Clint Farwood" - a pseudonym for a member of King Harvest. In the early 1970s, he met French music producer Henri Belolo. But he thought quickly that his success in France was not as high as expected and started to try his luck in North America. Jonathan Morali (born 22 May 1980) is a French composer, songwriter, singer, founder and frontman of the band Syd Matters. He is also the composer of many films and videogames original scores (e.g., ''Life Is Strange'', ''Life Is Strange 2''). Biography Debut and Syd Matters Jonathan Morali was born in Paris on 22 May 1980. He began his performing career playing at small bars until he was noticed by Third Side Records and signed to a recording contract. His first album, A Whisper and a Sigh, which was recorded during the summer of 2002 and released 28 June 2004. Moralı Ali Pasha ("Ali Pasha of Morea"; died 1735) was an Ottoman statesman. He was from the Peloponnese, which was historically called Morea ( tr, Mora). Ali Pasha served as the Ottoman governor of Anatolia Eyalet (1718–19), Aleppo Eyalet (1719), Sanjak of Candia (Ottoman Crete; 1719–20, 1725, 1726, 1730s), Van Eyalet (1720–21), Mosul Eyalet (1721), Sanjak of Eğriboz (1721–25), Egypt Eyalet (1725–26), Sanjak of Özi (1730–?), and Adana Eyalet (1734–1735). Moralı Ibrahim Pasha
Moralı Ibrahim Pasha ("Ibrahim Pasha of Morea"; died April or May 1725), also known as Aşçı Ibrahim Pasha ("the Cook") or Hacı Ibrahim Pasha or Ibrahim Pasha al-Kapudan, was an Ottoman statesman and grand admiral (Kapudan Pasha, 1707–09, 1717–18). Ibrahim Pasha served as the Ottoman governor of Egypt Eyalet (1709–10) but was then jailed and exiled to Sinop. After being pardoned in 1713, he was appointed to the governorship of Aleppo Eyalet (1714, 1717), Sidon Eyalet (1714–16), Sanjak of Jerusalem (1716), and Damascus Eyalet (1716). In his second term as Kapudan Pasha, he reportedly destroyed a Venetian navy fleet. He died in April or May 1725. Today, there is a street in Istanbul named after him (''Moralı İbrahim Paşa Sokak'').
