Moosarambagh
Moosrambagh also Moosa Ram Bagh is an old suburb of Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It is named after the French military commander Monsieur Raymond who served the Nizams during the 18th century. His tomb Raymond's Tomb is located near Asman Garh Palace. The locality of "Moosa-Ram-Bagh" is named after him. Wherein, Bagh refers to "a Garden" as the area was once covered by huge greenery. History Raymond became a close friend of the second Asaf Jah, Nizam Ali Khan. Raymond was not only held in high esteem by the 2nd Nizam, but had also won the love and trust of the local people. Malakpet is one of the suburbs in the old city area of Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It is famous for TV tower which was built by Teegala Sree Ramulu. This is further divided into two parts, Old Malakpet and New Malakpet and is traditionally considered part of old city. Raymond's Tomb
Raymond's tomb is the tomb of Michel Joachim Marie Raymond, a French general in the army of 2nd Nizam - Nizam Ali Khan, Asaf Jah II. The tomb, located in Hyderabad, India is a black granite tombstone, conical, about 7 metres high and it has the initials JR on it. The pavilion was built by the Nizam and collapsed in October 2001 in heavy rain. History The 200-year-old tomb had a facelift, including a brand new pavilion. He was born in Sérignac, Gascony, France, the son of a merchant. Early life In 1775, aged 20, he and his younger brother, William Jean Raymond, left for Pondicherry, India. The idea as he told his father, was to set up a merchant shop. Instead, Michel turned to the more exciting career of being a soldier. Life In 1775, Raymond reached Pondicherry to start a merchant shop. In 1778, following the French support of American revolutionaries, forces from Madras captured Pondicherry. The Hyderabad Metro is a rapid transit system, serving the city of Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It is the second longest operational metro network in India after the Delhi Metro (285 stations) with 57 stations and the lines are arranged in a secant model. Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (abbreviated as TSRTC) is a state-owned corporation that runs bus transport services to and from the Indian state of Telangana. Mir Nizam Ali Khan Siddiqi, Asaf Jah II (7 March 1734 – 6 August 1803) was the 2nd Nizam of Hyderabad State in South India between 1762 and 1803.
