Moorexpress
The Moor Express or Moorexpress is a heritage railway in the northern part of Lower Saxony in Germany. It runs between Stade and Osterholz-Scharmbeck passing through Bremervörde, Gnarrenburg and Worpswede. Bremervörde Station
Bremervörde is a railway station in northwestern Germany. It is owned and operated by Eisenbahnen und Verkehrsbetriebe Elbe-Weser, EVB, with regular trains on the Bremerhaven–Buxtehude railway. The Moorexpress heritage service also calls at the station on summer weekends. The station was modernised for a total amount of euro, € 340,000 in 2006 and features a travel agency and a bistro. It is a non-smoking station and equipped with a CCTV system. Bremen–Bremerhaven Railway
The Bremen–Bremerhaven railway line is a railway line connecting the German cities Bremen and Bremerhaven. It is an entirely two-track and electrified mainline railway that is operated Deutsche Bahn. It is designed for speeds of up to 160 km/h. In section from Bremen Hauptbahnhof to Bremerhaven Hauptbahnhof is 62.0 km long, but its extension via Bremerhaven-Lehe to the Bremerhaven-Speckenbüttel marshalling yard and on to ' is also often included. The most important intermediate station is Osterholz-Scharmbeck, where Regional-Express trains also stop. The line was fully opened on 23 January 1862 jointly by the Royal Hanoverian State Railways and Bremen. Today it mostly sees freight traffic and local passenger trains. Worpswede
Worpswede (Northern Low Saxon: ''Worpsweed'') is a municipality in the Osterholz-Scharmbeck, district of Osterholz, in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is situated in the Teufelsmoor, northeast of Bremen (city), Bremen. The small town itself is located near the Weyerberg hill. It has been the home to a lively artistic community since the end of the 19th century, with over 130 artists and craftsmen working there. History Its origin goes back to the Bronze Age. The Hamburger Verkehrsverbund (HVV) ( en, "Hamburg Transport Association") is a transport association coordinating public transport in and around Hamburg, Germany. Bremervörde () is a town in the north of the district (''Landkreis'') of Rotenburg, in Lower Saxony, Germany. Stade (), officially the Hanseatic City of Stade (german: Hansestadt Stade, nds, Hansestadt Stood) is a city in Lower Saxony in northern Germany. First mentioned in records in 934, it is the seat of the district () which bears its name. It is located roughly to the west of Hamburg and belongs to that city's wider metropolitan region.
