Agnes Robertson Moorehead (December 6, 1900April 30, 1974) was an American actress. In a career spanning four decades, her credits included work in radio, stage, film, and television.Obituary ''Variety'', May 8, 1974, page 286. Moorehead was the recipient of such accolades as a Primetime Emmy Award and two Golden Globe Awards, in addition to nominations for four Academy Awards. Alan Moorehead
Alan McCrae Moorehead, (22 July 1910 – 29 September 1983) was a war correspondent and author of popular histories, most notably two books on the nineteenth-century exploration of the Nile, ''The White Nile'' (1960) and ''The Blue Nile'' (1962). Australian-born, he lived in England, and Italy, from 1937. Biography Alan Moorehead was born in Melbourne, Australia. He was educated at Scotch College, with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne. He travelled to England in 1937 and became a renowned foreign correspondent for the London ''Daily Express''. Monica Gail Moorehead (born 1952) is an American retired teacher, writer, and political activist. She was the presidential nominee of the Workers World Party (WWP) in 1996, 2000, and 2016. Biography A political activist since high school, Moorehead distributed newspapers for the Black Panther Party and subsequently joined the WWP in 1972. She rose to the national leadership in 1979. In 1996, Moorehead was the presidential nominee of the party. She appeared on the ballot in 12 states and received around 29,000 votes, 0.3 percent of all cast, the best-ever showing for a WWP candidate in a presidential election. Emery Moorehead
Emery Matthew Moorehead (born March 22, 1954) is a former American football tight end and wide receiver in the National Football League for the New York Giants, Denver Broncos, and the Chicago Bears. He won a Super Bowl ring as the starting tight end and a member of the 1985 Chicago Bears. Moorehead played college football at the University of Colorado at Boulder where he played running back his first two seasons before converting to wide receiver as a junior. He captained the 1976 Big 8 champion Buffalos and finished his college career with 231 rushing yards, 40 receptions for 751 yards, and six touchdowns. Moorehead was drafted in the sixth round of the 1977 NFL Draft. Aaron Matthew Moorehead (born November 5, 1980) is an American football coach and former player who is the wide receivers coach for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL). He previously served as an assistant coach at Vanderbilt University, Texas A&M University, Virginia Tech, Stanford University and the University of New Mexico. Moorehead played college football as a wide receiver at Illinois and signed with the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent in 2003.
