Bishop Moore High School
Bishop Moore Catholic High School is a private Roman Catholic high school in the College Park neighborhood of Orlando, Florida. The school is located within the Diocese of Orlando, and remains the only Catholic high school in Greater Orlando. The enrollment capacity is approximately 1,500 students. Description The school was built in 1954, and was named after Bishop John Moore; he was the second bishop of the Diocese of St. Augustine, which had been the only diocese in Florida prior to the creation of the Archdiocese of Miami (1958). John Moore was born in County Westmeath, Ireland, and moved to Charleston, South Carolina at the age of 14. He served as Bishop of St. Augustine from 1877 to 1901. Moore was influential in the expansion of Catholic schools in Florida and in the recruitment of religious nuns and priests to meet the ministerial needs of the diocese. Moore Catholic High School
Moore Catholic High School is an American private, Catholic school in the Bulls Head neighborhood of Staten Island, New York. It was founded by the Presentation Sisters of Staten Island in September 1962 and named for Mary Young Moore, a beneficiary to the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York, and was the first archdiocesan high school for girls on Staten Island. Moore became co-educational in September 1969, and the name was formally changed from Countess Moore High School to Moore Catholic High School in October 1978. Enrollment is about 400 students, evenly divided between males and females. Advanced academics In 2005, Moore initiated a program called Presentation Scholars Academy for gifted students. North Moore High School is a High School in Robbins, North Carolina, United States. The first consolidated high school in Moore County, it opened in 1965. History The school was created through the consolidation of Elise High School, Westmoore High School, and High Falls High School. The cost of building the school was about $1.5 million dollars in 1964–65. In 2006 North Moore High School was named one of the best schools in the US. The Class of 2008 was the biggest graduating class in the school's history. Description The school's SAT score average over the past three school years was 1036/1456. Moore High School is a four-year comprehensive high school located in Moore, Oklahoma, a suburb south of Oklahoma City. The school is led by one head principal and five class principals. Moore High School opened i1920and serves grades 9-12. The school is the only high school that serves the east side of Moore. Ingram Tom Moore High School is a small public high school in Ingram, Texas, USA serving grades 9– 12. It is the only high school in the Ingram Independent School District, and is attended by students from West Kerr County.
