Moore is an unincorporated community in Spartanburg County in the U.S. state of South Carolina. Geography Moore is located in the Upstate region of South Carolina. Moore is located south of Spartanburg on U.S. Route 221 and is one mile west of Interstate 26. Historical Sites Moore is home to two historical houses. Price's Post Office was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1969. Agriculture Moore is famous for its Niven's Apple Farm, one of the largest producers and sellers of apples in Spartanburg County. Corn is also a relevant product. Cattle are the main livestock. Entertainment At one point, Moore was home to the studio of the Marshall Tucker band. Spartanburg is a city in and the seat of Spartanburg County, South Carolina, United States. Steven Michael Duggar (born November 4, 1993), nicknamed Duggy, is an American professional baseball outfielder in the Los Angeles Dodgers organization. South Carolina Highway 290
South Carolina Highway 290 (SC 290) is a state highway in the northwestern part of the U.S. state of South Carolina. It courses through central Greenville and Spartanburg Counties. Route description The west terminus of South Carolina Highway 290 is with its junction with US Highway 25 (US 25) approximately halfway between Travelers Rest and Tigerville. It generally follows a southeast route through the small villages of Locust Hill and Sandy Flat before entering Greer. Within Greer, its course changes to an easterly direction and it continues over the county border into Spartanburg County. Price's Post Office or the Price House is a house built c. 1800 in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. Its name in the USGS Geographic Names Information System is Prices Post Office. The Geographic Names Information System (GNIS) is a database of name and locative information about more than two million physical and cultural features throughout the United States and its territories, Antarctica, and the associated states of the Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, and Palau.
