Moony
Monica "Moony" Bragato (born 27 September 1980) is an Italian singer. She is best known as the vocalist on DB Boulevard's hit single "Point of View", as well as for her own single "Dove (I'll Be Loving You)". Raised in Venice, Moony was first noticed singing in the Venetian club scene and was asked to provide vocals for a number of songs by DJ and producer Spiller. The first single was "Positive", in 1998, sampled "Physical", the song of Olivia Newton-John, and the second single with Spiller was "Batucada" (1999). She also featured in the project, Angel Moon, in the song "He's All I Want", released in 1998. Her first major success was "Point of View" as part of the group DB Boulevard. That song became popular across the European dance music scene, and entered the UK Singles Chart at number three. Dove (I'll Be Loving You)
"Dove (I'll Be Loving You)" is the debut solo single by Italian musician Moony, released on 27 May 2002 from her debut album, ''Lifestories''. It achieved success in several European and Oceanian countries, becoming a top-20 hit in Denmark, Hungary, Italy, Romania, Spain, and the United Kingdom. To date, "Dove" remains Moony's biggest solo hit. The music video was shot in Spain by Canadian director Stuart Gosling. Critical reception Miriam Hubner of '' Music & Media'' magazine praised the song, complimenting Moony's "fresh" vocals and "cutting-edge" production. "Point of View" is a song by Italian electronic music group DB Boulevard, written by Alfredo Comazzetto and vocalist Moony under her real name, Monica Bragato. The song is based around a sample of "Heatwave" by French band Phoenix, so Deck D'Arcy, Laurent Brancowitz, Thomas Mars Jr., and Christian Mazzalai are also credited as writers. DB Boulevard was an Italian electronic music group, consisting of members, vocalist Moony (Monica Bragato), along with producers Alfred Azzetto, Diego Broggio and Mauro Ferrucci. In 2002, their song "Point of View" peaked at number 1 on the ''Billboard'' Hot Dance Club Play chart in the US and at number 3 on the UK Singles Chart.
