Moonlight Survived
''Moonlight Survived'' is the first and only full-length album by American alternative rock/post-hardcore band Moments in Grace. It was released on compact disc, 12-inch vinyl and digitally by American record labels Atlantic Records and Salad Days Records on August 17, 2004, and includes the single " Stratus", which was pushed to radio stations in June 2004, and music television channels in August 2004. The album was written from mid-2002 to mid-2003, while the band was still named Postcard Audio, with vocalist, guitarist and keyboardist Jeremy Griffith, guitarist Justin Etheridge, bass guitarist Jake Brown and drummer Brandon Cook. Cook was replaced by Timothy Kirkpatrick in May 2003 and a month later the band was renamed Moments in Grace. Moments In Grace
Moments in Grace (formerly known as Postcard Audio) was an alternative rock/post-hardcore band from St. Augustine, Florida, active from December 2001 to March 2005. In its final days, the band relocated to Burbank, California and its line-up included principal songwriter, lead vocalist, guitarist and keyboardist Jeremy Griffith; bass guitarist, keyboardist and backing vocalist Jake Brown; drummer Timothy Kirkpatrick; and guitarist James Glayat. Earlier in its span, the band also included drummers Jason Frazier and Brandon Cook, guitarists Shane Gibson and TJ Stein, and guitarist, keyboardist and backing vocalist Justin Etheridge. As Postcard Audio, the band released an eponymous EP in July 2002 through Brown's own record label, Computer Club Records. Strata is an American rock band from Campbell, California, formed in 2000, when guitarist Ryan Hernandez and singer Eric Victorino met and left their previous bands. Bassist Hrag Chanchanian and drummer Patrick Spain completed the line-up under the band's original name, Downside. The band released an EP entitled "For Testing Purposes" and an album called ''Sleep'' in 2001. Garnering major label attention early on, Downside signed a development deal with Capitol Records, during which time they replaced drummer Patrick Spain with Adrian Robison and recorded a collection of songs called, ''The Industry Is Outnumbered... Thornley was a Canadian post-grunge and hard rock band formed by Ian Thornley in 2002. The band was started when Thornley returned to Toronto after the break-up of his earlier band, Big Wreck. With the help of Chad Kroeger of Nickelback, Thornley signed to Kroeger's 604 Records. Steriogram were a rock band from New Zealand that formed in Auckland in 1999. A Thorn for Every Heart (often abbreviated to ATFEH) is a post-hardcore band from Chino Hills, California. History A Thorn for Every Heart was started in early 2003 by Joel Ryan Holt (guitar) and Aaron Peck (drums). The original lineup of Holt, Peck, Kelvin Cruz (lead vocals), Jeff Harber (guitar, keyboard instrument, keys, backing vocals), Justin Powell (bass guitar, bass), and Joy Welling (violin) independently released their debut EP, ''Silence Is Golden'', in late 2003.
